We are delighted to join you in prayer for God's favor on your job application. We believe that every good gift comes from above, and it is God who gives us the power to get wealth. Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is shortlisted for a new position. We declare in Jesus Christ, “They will still bear fruit in old age; they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, ‘The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.’” Psalm 92:14-15. We ask for Your favor and wisdom in this process. Guide the decisions of the interviewers, and if it is Your will, open this door of opportunity for our sibling in Christ.
However, we also pray that Your will be done, and if this job is not part of Your plan, give our brother/sister peace and clarity as they continue their search. We trust in Your promise: “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11.
In Jesus' name, we pray for divine alignment, that our brother/sister be a vessel that carries light and hope to those who are around them in the workplace. We also pray for the boldness and wisdom to represent Christ and be a Christian witness in any situation.
We are reminded of the scripture, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24.
Finally, we are thankful and bless Your name for this opportunity. We know that our brother/sister has the favor of God, Psalms 5:12, as they have called on the name of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures and continue to trust in God's perfect plan for your life. Be reminded that even if this job does not work out, God has something better in store for you. Always remember to call on the name of Jesus Christ for all prayers, as this is the way we have access to God and it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12.
