We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting up your business struggles and the challenges you face with the owners of the kitchen space. It is clear that your heart is heavy with the weight of financial loss and the desire to turn things around, and we join you in seeking God’s provision and favor. However, we must first address something vital: the name above all names, Jesus Christ, was not invoked in your request. Scripture reminds us that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without calling upon the name of Jesus, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from our relationship with Him through faith. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone holds the keys to eternal life and the abundant blessings we seek here on earth.
Now, let us turn our hearts to the Lord together, asking for His wisdom, favor, and provision in this situation. We understand that you are seeking to use the fryer in the kitchen to improve your business, and we pray that God would soften the hearts of the owners to grant you this opportunity. However, we must also encourage you to examine your motives and methods. Are you seeking first the Kingdom of God in this business, or is your focus solely on financial gain? Jesus teaches us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We pray that your business would not only thrive financially but also be a vessel for honoring God and blessing others. If there are any unethical practices, dishonesty, or a lack of integrity in how you are conducting your business, we urge you to repent and align your actions with God’s Word, for *"the Lord detests dishonest scales, but he delights in accurate weights"* (Proverbs 11:1, WEB).
We also encourage you to trust in God’s timing and sovereignty. While it is natural to feel anxious about losing money and guests, remember that God is your Provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask. *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."* (Matthew 6:31-32, WEB). Perhaps this season of struggle is an opportunity for you to rely more fully on Him and seek His will for your business. Are there areas where you need to improve, such as customer service, cleanliness, or the quality of your offerings? Ask God to reveal to you how you can steward this business in a way that glorifies Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing challenges in their business. Lord, You are the Owner of all things, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch the hearts of the owners of the kitchen space, softening them to grant the use of the fryer so that this business may have the opportunity to improve. Give our brother/sister wisdom and creativity to draw guests back and to manage their business in a way that honors You. Father, we rebuked any spirit of greed, desperation, or dishonesty that may be at work, and we ask that You would align their heart with Your will. If there are areas of sin or unrighteousness in how this business is being conducted, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance.
Lord, we pray for provision—not just financial blessing, but a deeper trust in You as their Provider. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them as they walk in obedience. Give them favor with customers, wisdom in their decisions, and a spirit of excellence in all they do. If it is Your will for this business to continue, we ask that You would open doors that no man can shut. But if You are leading them in a different direction, give them the courage to follow You wholeheartedly.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this season. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). May they find peace in Your presence and hope in Your promises. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with wise counsel from fellow believers who can speak truth and encouragement into your life. If you have not already, consider tithing faithfully, for *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* (Malachi 3:10, WEB). Trust that God sees your needs, and He is faithful to provide as you walk in obedience and faith. Stay steadfast, and do not lose heart, for *"let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* (Galatians 6:9, WEB).
