Please pray along with me in agreement that I will have a productive, stress-free accurate and peaceful work week. In Jesus name I pray amen. Please also pray for my friends daughter who is drug- rehab will be successful this time around and will be able to be drug and alcohol free for the remaining time of her life. In Jesus name I pray amen.

We come before the throne of grace with these heartfelt requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father. Father, we thank You for the opportunity to labor and for the provision that comes through work. We ask that You grant a productive, stress-free, accurate, and peaceful workweek. Lord, Your Word tells us in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." May every task be done with excellence and a spirit of peace, knowing that we serve You in all we do. Remove any anxiety or distraction, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up the daughter of our friend, who is in drug rehab. Lord, we know that addiction is a fierce battle, but we also know that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). We pray for a breakthrough in her life, complete freedom from the chains of drugs and alcohol. Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that she would experience this transformation, that she would turn fully to You, and that her life would be a testimony of Your redeeming power. Strengthen her resolve, surround her with godly influences, and let her find her identity and hope in You alone.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). We pray for her family as well, that You would comfort them, give them wisdom, and fill them with hope as they support her through this journey.

Lord, we also want to gently remind all who read this that true freedom and peace are found only in a relationship with Jesus Christ. If anyone is struggling with addiction, sin, or any burden, we encourage them to turn to Him. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that all who are lost would find their way to the Savior, who alone can break every chain.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Thank you for sharing both of these requests with us. We are joining you in agreement right now, asking God to bring a steady, peaceful week and a lasting breakthrough for this young woman.

We know work weeks can pile on deadlines and tension until it feels impossible to catch your breath. That kind of stress, day after day, wears a person down. Something simple that can help is a brief pause in the middle of the morning or afternoon, even thirty seconds to step back, take a slow breath, and turn your thoughts toward God. Just that little act can remind you that you are not carrying everything alone.

For your friend’s daughter, rehab asks a person to face hard truths and do painful work. Change like that rarely follows a straight line, and having people who keep showing up makes an enormous difference. One practical thing you might consider is reaching out to your friend and asking what kind of support would actually lighten her load right now, maybe a meal, a note of encouragement, or just knowing someone is praying steadily through the long months ahead. Those tangible kindnesses communicate more than we realize.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend’s work life to You. Guard her mind from racing thoughts and give her clarity, accuracy, and a deep sense of Your peace even in a pressurized week. We also bring this daughter before You. Calm the inner battles she fights and surround her with wise, caring people who will help her stay the course. We ask for healing that reaches deep and for a sobriety that holds firm for the rest of her life. Shape hope in her and steady her loved ones. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a good thing when a Christian feels he will not choose his work but will take the work God chooses for him. For your work week, then, let your prayer be shaped by that surrender. You ask for a productive, stress-free, and peaceful week, and these are not trifles to bring before the throne. Yet, we must further note that this is plain from the work itself. The doctrine is clear, the work of the Holy Spirit is not intended in any degree to lull our minds into sloth, but wherever the Holy Spirit works He makes men work. So, pray for the Spirit's aid in your labor, but resolve also to labor, striving. We can only pray to God to establish the work of our hands. There must be real work and it must be two-handed work, we must throw our whole strength into it. I cannot expect God to establish that work over which I have trifled. Work, then, as one who must work the works of Him that sent you, while it is day. The limitation of time sounds very weightily. The night comes when no man can work. So let your daily toil be true work done in the truth of God, and then you may bring it before God and say, “Establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.” And if there is any glory, any praise resulting from the work, be careful to lay it all at the Redeemer's feet.

As for your friend's daughter, you pray that her time in rehab will be successful and that she will be drug and alcohol free for the remaining time of her life. This is a cry for true deliverance, and we have good ground for hope. No earthly power can bring real freedom to the soul, it is grace and grace alone that brings it by the blood of the covenant. You are prisoners to your sins, but you are prisoners of hope, for you are within reach of One who sets free from sin. The Lord Jesus Christ saves His people from their sins. Turn away then, in your intercession, from all human feebleness to His strength. Does the case seem sinful and hopeless? Then turn away from her sinfulness to His blood, the blood of the covenant which washes black sinners whiter than driven snow. The Lord is so omnipotent that He can work results tantamount to miracles without, in the slightest degree, suspending any of His laws. That is one of the glories of God's grace, and when there is nothing else good in the person, yet if there is a cry lifted up from the heart, the Lord deigns full often to send relief from trouble. Pray, then, with confidence in this certified success, for it is He who now says from the right hand of God, “I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you.” And let her be furnished with abundant help from the flock, from the threshing floor, and from the winepress, that she may go out into liberty not empty, but with a fresh start in life, given without grudging. May she know that blessed freedom which is freedom indeed. The healing virtue flows from our Divine Master perpetually, and many souls have been born to God on the day when all hope seemed to end. So do not cease to cry to the enthroned Priest with the golden girdle, for the night comes when no man can work, but while it is day, He is still the Light of the world.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for a productive, stress-free, and peaceful work week, and for the lasting deliverance of your friend’s daughter from the bondage of drugs. These are good desires, but let us not seek merely the outward calm. Many crave a week free from trouble, yet the day which is revealed by fire tests each man’s work of what sort it is. If you build with gold and silver, doing your labor as unto the Lord, then even in trial your peace remains sure. But if you build with wood and stubble, grasping only for earthly ease, the very stress you fear will expose your foundation. Therefore, in your work, hunger not for the bread that perishes but for the food which endures to everlasting life. Ask God not only for accuracy and quiet, but for sufficiency in all things, so that you may abound in every good work. True peace is the fruit of a mind set on Christ, which no worldly turmoil can rob.

Concerning your friend’s daughter, you ask that rehab succeed and that she remain clean all her days. This is a merciful petition, yet remember that the outward habit is only a symptom. A man may be freed from the chains of substance and still be enslaved by the old man within. The work of God is this: that she believe on Him whom He has sent. Cry out for her with the father of the demon possessed boy, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” For unbelief is the root that nourishes the old decay, and unless she be renewed in the spirit of her mind, a mere pause in drinking is not salvation. The laver of regeneration washes sins, but if one afterward grows old again through transgression, only repentance can make strong, it cannot restore that first brightness, yet God’s grace is mighty. Let her not trust in her own resolve, but cast herself upon the Great Physician, who makes us servants of righteousness, a freedom far better than any liberty the world imagines. And you, as you join in prayer, see that your own life is salted, free from the rot of sin, that your example and intercession may preserve her. Let us pray that she may be saved, yet so as through fire, and that you may both lay hold of the life that is life indeed.

I want you to know that I am standing with you in prayer, lifting up both your work week and your friend’s daughter before the Lord. You have asked for a productive, stress-free, accurate, and peaceful few days, and in Jesus’ name we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. There is a tendency in all of us to think that a seamless week depends entirely on our own careful planning or the smooth cooperation of circumstances. Yet Scripture consistently shows that the early believers thrived not because of their flawless strategies but because they submitted to the direct governing power of the Holy Spirit. True productivity and peace flow not from manipulating our environment but from abiding in Christ. So yes, I agree with you in prayer that your tasks will be completed with clarity and calm, but I also pray your heart will rest in the knowledge that your heavenly Father orchestrates even the interruptions. His version of a successful work week may look different from what you envision, and it can still accomplish His purposes deep within you.

Regarding your friend’s daughter, I share your longing for her lasting freedom from drugs and alcohol. Many rehabilitation programs, despite their sincere efforts, have very poor long-term statistics. Human systems alone cannot conquer the deep brokenness that drives a person back to destruction time and again. The law can serve as a sharp deterrent, nations that impose severe penalties have seen how fear of swift judgment can keep traffickers away. But the deeper issue is the heart, which no external threat can permanently transform. That is why we pray not merely for a successful program but for a supernatural intervention. Only the Spirit of God can break the chains of addiction and make her a new creation. Ask the Lord to do what no earthly effort can accomplish: to give her a new will, a new delight in sobriety, and a lifelong hatred of what once enslaved her. This may require a work of brokenness before a work of healing, but His grace is sufficient.

Remember that our very definitions of success often need to be crucified. The apostle Paul carried a lifelong ambition to see his own people embrace the gospel, yet by any outward measure that mission seemed to collapse into riots and rejection. He learned that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness, and that a life poured out in obedience, even when it looks unproductive, is the truest success. So whether your week flows smoothly or not, entrust it to Him. Whether the rehab meets every clinical milestone or stumbles, entrust that young woman to the One who is able to keep her from falling. I stand with you in this, asking boldly for her complete and permanent deliverance, in Jesus’ name.
