Pray my twin sister ### who ### young Jesus tevealef to her new man in Christ coming to be her husband i pray comes into her life we recently in febuary lost our ### to cancer we miss him

We lift up your twin sister before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts. The loss of your father in February is still fresh, and grief has a way of leaving deep wounds that only the Lord can heal. We stand with you in praying for her to draw near to God in this season, for it is in His presence that true comfort and restoration are found. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." May she feel the nearness of God as a balm to her soul, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also pray for the godly husband you ask the Lord to bring into her life. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, and it is good to seek a spouse who will honor Him and love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We pray that the man God has prepared for her will be a man of faith, integrity, and devotion to the Lord. May he be someone who will encourage her in her walk with Christ, support her in her grief, and lead their future family with wisdom and love. Proverbs 19:14 reminds us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." We trust that God, who knows the desires of her heart, will provide a husband who is a gift from Him.

However, we must gently address the phrase "young Jesus ###" in your request. We understand this may have been a typo or a moment of confusion, but it is critical to clarify that there is no other name by which we are saved except the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it is through faith in Him alone that we receive eternal life (John 14:6). We encourage you and your sister to hold fast to the truth of the Gospel and to lift up the name of Jesus in all things, for He is the cornerstone of our faith.

We also want to encourage your sister to seek the Lord first in this season, trusting that He will direct her path. Psalm 37:4-5 says, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." While it is natural to desire companionship, we pray that she would find her ultimate fulfillment in Christ and that any future marriage would be built on a foundation of shared faith and devotion to God.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of love and concern for this dear sister. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to her in her grief and wrap Your arms of comfort around her. Heal the wounds of loss and fill the void in her heart with Your perfect peace. Father, we also lift up her desire for a godly husband. We ask that You would prepare her heart and the heart of the man You have for her. May he be a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the church and lead their marriage in a way that honors You. Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing and Your good plans for her life. Help her to seek You above all else, to find her joy and purpose in You, and to walk in faith as she waits on Your promises. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and to lean on the Lord in this season. Grief and longing can feel overwhelming, but God is faithful, and His promises are true. May you both experience His presence in powerful ways as you trust in Him.

What a tender mix of longing and loss you've brought before the Lord. Losing your dad to ### this past February is still so fresh, and it makes sense that in this ache, your heart turns even more earnestly toward your sister's future. Grief has a way of sharpening the things that matter most, like wanting to see your twin settled with a godly husband, someone to walk through life with.

We're not surprised you're praying this so ardently. Missing your father can stir a deep desire for new bonds of family and stability. Your sister's hope for a man in Christ is a good desire, and we believe God planted that longing. He sees her, right where she is, navigating both grief and hope.

One thing that might help in this season is simply to be extra intentional about leaning into your twin bond. You understand each other's loss in a way few others will. Could you two set aside a regular time, maybe over coffee or a walk, to talk about Dad, then pray specifically for her future husband? Not to pressure a timeline, but to lift it together. It keeps you both connected and reminds her that she's not alone in the waiting or the missing.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we lift up this twin sister to You. You see her heart's desire for a husband who follows You. In Your kindness and perfect timing, prepare them both, and bring them together in a way that strengthens their faith. At the same time, wrap these sisters in Your comfort as they grieve their dad. Let them feel Your nearness and the hope that death doesn't have the final word. Give them wisdom to support each other, and fill their home with Your peace. In Your name we pray, amen.

This is that word from the Lord to you in this hour of sorrow: “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people.” You have felt the keen bereavement, the sudden taking of your dear father; the empty place aches and the heart cries out. But in such affliction, the child of God possesses a peculiar comfort, not a cold, distant hope, but something you may press to your bosom and say, “This is my comfort.” What is it? That His Word has quickened you. The Spirit breathes upon the letter of promise and life stirs within, lifting the head, putting new strength into the soul. You miss him sorely, and tears are not sin, for even our Lord wept. Yet time, under God’s hand, shall wonderfully heal, and you shall remember this misery only as waters that have passed away. Job received double, and your sorrow shall be swallowed up in what the Lord has yet in store.

And now for the desire concerning your twin sister, a young believer, that a man in Christ might come to be her husband. Cry mightily to the Lord for this, for it is a holy longing. Let not your prayers be cool and moderate; a half-hearted entreaty hath little power. Seek His face with importunity, yet always submitting to that blessed cup-prayer, “Lord, if it be possible, let this cup pass; nevertheless, not my will, but Thine be done.” And here is a solid pillow for your head: the same Captain who governs the raging sea holds every heart in His almighty hand. He who sends the trial also makes the way of escape, or strength to bear it. Why should you be fearful of this matter? As the sailor’s wife said, “I am not afraid of a sword when it is my husband who wields it,” so you may rest, for all events are wielded by your Father.

Yet remember, comfort and constancy walk hand in hand. No comfort alone suffices if it makes you forget the Giver. Whether the Lord sends a husband or not, let your sister and you both fix your eyes on Jesus, the true Husband of our souls. Is He your Covenant Head, your All? Then you have comfort already, for He is yours. Meanwhile, continue to mourn before Him over what is yet lacking in your family, for there is a sweet, delicious grief that pleads for others. Grieve not as the world grieves, but let your sorrow drive you to the mercy-seat. He will not break the bruised reed, nor quench the smoking flax. Trust in Him who breathed life into your sister, and He will not fail to establish your hearts in every good word and work, giving you in due season all that is needful. Put your case wholly into His pierced hands; He knows the end from the beginning.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
