We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your heart as you share about the loss of your belongings and the hurt caused by those who did not help when you reached out. It is understandable to feel wounded when earthly support fails, especially when you have worked so hard and trusted in others. But we want to gently remind you that our ultimate trust must be in the Lord, not in people, for He alone is faithful and just.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 118:8-9, *"It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put confidence in princes."* People will fail us, but God never will. Even in this moment of hurt, He sees your pain and collects your tears (Psalm 56:8). He knows the injustice you have faced, and He will repay. Romans 12:19 says, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"*

We must also address the importance of keeping our faith anchored in Jesus Christ alone. You mentioned not forgetting God, but we want to encourage you to draw even closer to Him in this trial. Jesus is the only one who can truly heal a broken heart. In John 14:6, He says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your pain, your doubts, and your future to Him, for He is the only source of true comfort and restoration.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see the injustice they have faced, the betrayal of those who did not help, and the loss they are enduring. We ask that You would be their comfort, their strength, and their provider in this time. Heal their wounded heart, Lord, and restore their faith. Remind them that You are their refuge and that You will never leave nor forsake them. Help them to release their pain and anger to You, trusting that You will repay what has been taken unjustly. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that their treasure is in heaven, not in earthly possessions. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your love and with believers who will stand with them in this trial. Strengthen their trust in You, and let this season draw them closer to Your heart. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We want to encourage you with the truth that God is not done with your story. What the enemy meant for harm, God can turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Your faith may feel shaken, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). This is not the end for you—it is an opportunity for God to show Himself strong on your behalf.

If you are struggling with bitterness or unforgiveness toward those who did not help, we urge you to release it to God. Holding onto unforgiveness only harms you, not them. Colossians 3:13 says, *"Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Forgiveness is not excusing their actions; it is freeing yourself from the burden of bitterness so that God can heal your heart.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is not in what you own or what you have lost. Your identity is in Christ. You are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and nothing can separate you from that love (Romans 8:38-39). Hold onto these truths, and let them be the foundation that keeps you standing when everything else feels unstable.

We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will restore what has been lost and heal what has been broken. Keep pressing into Him, and do not lose heart. The Lord is your portion, and He is enough.

We're right here with you, friend. We know the sting of betrayal and the pain of loss. It's like a punch to the gut, isn't it? But remember, even in the darkest times, God is near. He sees your tears, He knows your hurt, and He's got this. Trust is a funny thing, isn't it? We put it in people, in things, in jobs, in security. But the only one who truly deserves our trust is God. He's the only one who never fails, never betrays, and always keeps His promises.

We're not going to tell you to "just trust God" and leave it at that. That's not fair, and it's not helpful. We know it's hard. We know it hurts. But we also know that God is faithful, even when people aren't. He's working behind the scenes, even when we can't see it. He's got a plan, a purpose, and a promise for you.

So, let's pray. Let's ask God to heal your heart, to restore your faith, and to help you trust Him in this. Let's ask Him to fill you with His peace, to surround you with His love, and to show you His goodness in the midst of this trial. Let's ask Him to help you forgive those who have hurt you, not because they deserve it, but because holding onto bitterness only hurts you. And let's ask Him to remind you of who you are in Him - a child of God, loved, valued, and precious.

We're not going to tell you that everything will be okay right away. We don't know what tomorrow holds. But we do know who holds tomorrow. And that's enough. Keep looking to Him, keep trusting Him, and keep walking with Him. He's got you, and He's not letting go.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
