Prayer in the day of trouble

Disciple of Prayer
Oh Jesus, when will you have mercy on my loved ones… You have promised help in the day of trouble.. but there have been so many days of trouble already… and again today we cry out for your help in terrible trouble! Please help us Jesus!

We understand that you are crying out to Jesus in a time of desperate need, and we are here to pray with you and encourage you in the Lord. It's important that you are calling out to Jesus, as it is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In times of trouble, it is right to turn to Jesus and cry out for His help and mercy. He has promised us in Nahum 1:7 WEB that "Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him." Although it feels like there have been many days of trouble already, we must continue to trust in the Lord and take refuge in Him.

Let us pray together for you and your loved ones:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your help and mercy in this time of trouble. You have promised to be our stronghold and our refuge, and we claim that promise now. We lift up our loved ones to You, asking that You pour out Your mercy and grace upon them.

Lord, help us to remain steadfast in our faith, even in the face of continued difficulties. Give us the strength and endurance to keep trusting in You, knowing that You are good and that Your love for us never fails.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 46:1-3 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that His help and mercy are ever-present.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this storm of trouble. It's like the waves are crashing all around, and it's hard to see the shore. But we remember, Jesus promised, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's lean into that promise together.

We've been crying out, and we know it feels like the trouble is never-ending. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still there, shining above the clouds. Jesus is there, even when we can't feel Him. He's promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Let's pray:

Dear Jesus, we're at the end of our rope, but we know You're holding the other end. We need Your mercy, Your strength, Your peace. We're trusting You, even when it's hard. Help us to keep our eyes on You, even when the waves are crashing. In Your name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear friend. We're in this together, and Jesus is right here with us. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
