Prayer help

We stand with you in this battle and we lift you and your loved ones up before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for we know our struggle is real and spiritual.

We take comfort that the Word tells us exactly what this fight is, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 Therefore we are called to Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 We are not left defenseless, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and we are reminded You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 The enemy walks about like a roaring lion, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 but we are told to Withstand him steadfast in your faith 1 Peter 5:9 and Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who has triumphed over sin, death, and every power of darkness. We thank You that through His blood we have access to Your presence and authority over the enemy. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around our dear one and all of their loved ones, cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We rebuke every evil being and every attack of Satan that has come against them, their home, their mind, and their family, and we command it to flee in Jesus' name. Fill this home with Your Holy Spirit, with peace that passes all understanding, and let Your angels encamp around them, for You have promised For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 Strengthen them to stand firm, clothed in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Ephesians 6:14-17 Help them to abide in You daily through prayer, through reading Scripture aloud, through worship, and through turning away from any open door to the enemy, confessing sin and walking in obedience. Let them know the victory is already won at the cross, Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:15 We ask for Your perfect peace to guard their hearts and minds and for restful sleep free from fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 We entrust them and their loved ones into Your faithful hands, trusting You to keep them from evil.

We encourage you to continue to call upon the name of Jesus aloud, for there is power in His name, and to speak Scripture over yourself and your family daily. Keep your heart cleansed before the Lord, confess any sin quickly, forgive others, and stay in fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in prayer. Put on worship music, pray continually, and keep the Word before your eyes, for it is your weapon and your light. The Lord is near and He hears your cry, and He will guard you as you remain subject to Him. We continue to stand with you and contend for your victory in Christ.

We are grateful you brought this to us. Feeling targeted spiritually, especially when you are worried for your loved ones too, can be exhausting and lonely. We want you to know you are not facing this alone, and God hears you when you call on Him in Jesus' name.

One steady insight we have found helpful is that it is easy to swing to extremes, either brushing spiritual opposition aside or becoming consumed by it. A healthier path is a steady, daily walk with Christ, with others beside you.

A couple of simple steps that often bring steadiness:

Invite a trusted pastor or a couple of mature believers you know to pray with you regularly and to stay aware of how you and your family are doing. There is real strength in not carrying this by yourself.

Keep a simple daily rhythm of prayer and reading Scripture, and stay connected in fellowship, even when you don't feel like it. Think of it as training over time rather than a single moment that fixes everything.

If fear or distress grows heavy, reach out right away to that pastor or trusted community for support.

Father, we lift this dear person and their loved ones to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your presence, guard their hearts and home, and give them clear wisdom, peace and courage. Help them rest in Christ and walk closely with You day by day. Amen.

We have heard your cry and we do wrestle with you in prayer to God for you and for those you love, for such wrestling is the very work to which the Lord calls His people when the enemy presses hard.

There is great comfort for you in the gospel. The Scripture declares that the Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What a mercy is this, that poor creatures such as we are should be able to escape from the power of that master spirit, Satan, the destroyer. He is the prince of the power of the air, yet to escape from Satan himself is a work of God, and it shall be sung in heaven. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the assaults of the evil one is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and if He has delivered us from that tremendous power, He will deliver us all the way through.

Take comfort also that your trial is not outside the sacred zone of Providential government. Nothing comes apart from Divine permission, and the Lord who permits the trial also limits it. It is not killing, but curing, that God means when He takes the sharp lancet in His hand, and His mercy endures forever. Satan may desire to have you, as he desired to have Peter, that he might sift you as wheat, but remember the great protection of your faith. The Lord Jesus says, I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. His intercession is prevalent and it is prevenient, offered before the temptation comes, and because He pleads, He must prevail.

God has found a ransom. The prisoner ready to go down to the pit hears the voice from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. The King's own Son has borne the penalty, and God has given commandment to save you. You shall be saved from yourself, saved from the devil, saved from all the attacks of your old sins, for God has said it.

He also hears the groaning of the prisoner. With God, to hear is to answer. Though you may feel you cannot find suitable words, if you groan before Him and cry, Lord, help me, that handy prayer will hold you up. It is a prayer for every place and every hour, and Christ never finally refuses to listen to such pleading.

Let us pray together for you and your loved ones.

O Lord, hear our prayer and let our cry come unto You. Look down from the height of Your sanctuary and behold Your servants who are pressed by the adversary. For Jesus sake, deliver this soul and this household from going down to the pit, for You have found a ransom in the blood of Your Son. Cause Your face to shine upon them and deliver them from the power of darkness. Let the intercession of Christ prevail for them, that their faith fail not, and that being tried, they may yet stand. Grant them more knowledge of Your truth, more steadfastness in prayer, and perfect peace in the God of peace who shall be with them. Keep them from evil, guard their going out and coming in, and let them know that greater is He that is in them than he that is in the world. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Deliverer, we ask it. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear your request and we join with you in prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ for His protection over you and your loved ones.

The struggle you describe is real, and Scripture teaches that we do not wrestle only against what is seen, but against the evil one who seeks to attack and deceive. Yet we take comfort that Christ has come to deliver from evil and to bring us into sonship, so that we are no longer strangers but children of God, clothed with Christ and given the Spirit of adoption. It is not by our own wisdom or strength that we stand, but by the power that comes from Him.

We pray now for you:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask for Your mercy and protection over this dear one and over all their loved ones. Deliver them from every attack of Satan and from every evil influence. Cover them with the blood of Christ, guard their minds and hearts, their homes and bodies, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with peace and courage and faith, and help them to stand firm in Christ, resisting the devil so that he must flee. Lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from evil, and supply every good thing they need from Your hand. Let them know that You are near and that You are the cause of all blessing and safety. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Continue to stay close to Christ and close to His people. The enemy most boldly assails those who are isolated and alone, just as he approached Eve when she was apart, and so there is great strength in flocking together continually in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers. Do not face this battle by yourself. Gather with faithful believers, remain in daily prayer and in Scripture, confess sin quickly, and keep your mind fixed on the hope of eternal life, so that even in danger you may stand above fear. God does not always promise immediate removal from every hardship, but He does promise to give strength to despise fear and death itself, and to bring you through with a deeper confidence in Him.

We will continue to pray that you and your household will be delivered and kept safe in Christ, and that you will experience His peace that guards heart and mind.
