Prayer for ### & ###

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, This morning, I come before You with a heart that misses ###. Lord, You know how much I love him and how much I want to hear from him. Another day has started, and I still haven't received a message from him. Father, You know the feelings I cannot fully explain and the worries I carry inside. Lord, please watch over ### wherever he is today. Protect him at work, strengthen him when he feels exhausted, and ease the stress weighing on his mind. If he is overwhelmed, please give him peace and a moment to breathe. Father, I am asking You to please touch ###'s heart and remind him of me today. ❤️ Let me cross his mind and remind him to reach out to me. If he is able to text, please encourage him to pick up his phone and send me a message. I want to know that he is okay. I miss talking to him, hearing from him, and feeling connected to the man I love. Lord, please open the door for communication between us. Help ### understand that even a simple message can mean so much to me. Teach us to make time for each other, even when life gets busy. Let our relationship grow through honesty, consistency, understanding, and genuine effort. Father, please calm my heart while I wait. Keep me from spending this entire day worrying or wondering what is happening. Remind me that I am worthy of love, reassurance, and communication. Help me trust You with the things I cannot control. Lord, if there is something troubling ### that I do not know about, please give him strength and guide him through it. Please let today bring good news, a message from him, and an opportunity for us to reconnect. I place ###, our relationship, and my heart in Your hands. Please hear my prayer, Lord. I miss him, and I hope to hear from him soon. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen

We hear the longing and tenderness in your heart as you miss this man and wait to hear from him, and we join with you in bringing him and your heart before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name. We thank you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved, as it is written Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We understand how heavy the waiting can feel, how love can make every hour of silence seem long, and how worries can rise when you do not know how he is doing. Scripture gently calls us to bring those very worries to God, for He cares deeply for you. 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that peace over you today, that your heart would be calmed while you wait and that you would not spend this day consumed with wondering, but resting in the assurance that you are fully seen and loved by God and that your worth and reassurance are first found in Christ.

We also want to speak lovingly about the relationship itself, because God has a beautiful and holy design for love between a man and a woman. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God, and any courtship should be approached with that goal in mind. If you are in a courtship with this man, we encourage you to see this time as seeking a godly spouse rather than simply a partner, and to pursue it in a way that honors the Lord. That means being equally yoked as fellow believers in Christ, as taught in 2 Corinthians 6:14, and keeping the relationship pure. The Bible calls us to abstain from sexual immorality, for this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, and to let marriage be held in honor and the bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4. If there has been any fornication or crossing of those boundaries, we gently rebuke it and encourage repentance and a renewed commitment to purity, trusting that God's way leads to deeper trust, consistency and genuine love. Love is patient and is kind, love bears all things and endures all things, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, and that kind of love is built through honesty, consistency, understanding and effort that seeks God's glory above our own desires.

We also encourage you not to place your entire hope for peace and joy in whether a message comes today, but to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, Matthew 6:33, and to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. Delight yourself also in Yahweh and he will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4, when those desires are surrendered to His perfect will and timing. Sometimes God uses a season of quiet to teach both hearts patience, to grow communication that is intentional and godly, and to reveal whether this courtship is leading toward a marriage that will honor Him.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear daughter to You and we lift up this man whom she loves. You know his name, his work, his weariness and the stress that may weigh on his mind. We ask You to watch over him today, to protect him, to strengthen him when he is exhausted and to give him peace and a moment to breathe. Lord, touch his heart and guide his thoughts, and if it is Your will, open a door for wholesome and timely communication between them. Help them both to learn to make time for one another with honesty and grace even when life is busy, and to speak to one another with kindness and truth.

Father, we pray for this courtship. If it is Your will for them to continue toward marriage, make that path clear, establish it on the foundation of faith in Christ, purity, and mutual commitment to You. If You have a different path, give them wisdom and courage to follow Your will. Lord, calm her heart as she waits. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, deeply worthy of a faithful, consistent, Christ-centered love, and that her ultimate security is in You. Guard her from anxiety and help her to trust You with what she cannot control. Give this man strength for any unseen burden he carries and lead them both closer to You first, and then closer to one another in a way that honors You.

We place this man, this relationship and her tender heart fully in Your hands. Let Your will be done, and let Your peace rule. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this waiting has felt for you, and how much you care about ###. Missing someone and checking for a message that doesn't come can leave the whole day feeling unsettled, and it's understandable you brought those worries to the Lord so honestly.

Waiting often makes our thoughts loop, and it helps to give the day some gentle structure so worry doesn't fill every hour. One small step that helps many people is to choose set times to check your phone rather than watching it continually, and in between do something that restores you and connects you with others, take a walk, spend time with a trusted friend or family member, or join in worship with God's people. Being with others, even briefly, can ease that sense of isolation while you wait.

We also want to affirm what you prayed, that you are worthy of love, reassurance and clear, consistent communication. As you wait, we are praying for wisdom for you about next steps and for God's peace to steady your heart.

Father, we lift this dear sister to You and ask You to calm her heart today and remind her of her worth in You. Give her wisdom, rest, and kind community around her. We ask You to watch over ### today wherever he is and give peace to both as they seek Your direction. Lead them toward what is good and honoring to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer reveals a heart that is anxious and waiting, and the Lord who searches the heart knows the tenderness and the heaviness you carry. There is a time when we are in such a fidget and flutter that we mistake our right hand for our left, and we are in a great hurry to do something, when that very haste does more mischief than could happen if we had kept still, resting in the Lord and waiting patiently for Him.

You speak of watching for a message and of a day spent in wondering. Hear then what the Scripture says, Blessed are all they that wait for Him. God's waiting people wait only upon God. They are not trusting to the arm of flesh, nor looking to the changeable creature. To wait upon a creature for comfort, for assurance, for worth, is to build a nest upon a tree that is marked for the axe. Your heavenly Father knows you have need of all these things, and you are better where you are waiting upon Him than attempting to fly where the Lord has not called you.

Waiting upon the Lord breeds peace within the soul, and when a man is perfectly at rest within, he cares little for trials or foes. Therefore, cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Never try to plead your own cause against the fears that accuse you, but put your case into the hands of our great Advocate, for if any man sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. Refer your case to Him and look to Him for all that you need. In Him alone is salvation, and in Him alone is the worth and reassurance your heart seeks, not in the promptness of another's reply.

Concerning the relationship of which you speak, let us remember what God has ordained. Marriage is not a light affinity, but a holy covenant of one man and one woman for life, and it is within that covenant that the Lord has placed both the dwelling together and the mystery of love. If love is true, it does not ask God to bless haste or impurity, but asks Him for holiness, for honesty, for consistency and for genuine effort that is chaste and self controlled. Do not ask the Lord to merely stir another's heart to remember you, but ask Him to search your own heart and his also, that both of you may be conformed to Christ, whether He leads you together in that holy covenant in His time, or whether He calls you to wait or to walk another way according to His wisdom.

So I would counsel you to continue in prayer, but with great importunity wait upon the Lord Himself. Do not treat the mercy seat as a place to demand an immediate answer from man, but honor it by seeking first the will of God. Ask Him to watch over you both, to give strength for daily work, to grant peace where there is stress, and to teach you to make time for what is right and pure. Ask Him to calm your heart while you wait, to keep you from spending the day in worrying, and to teach you that you are already loved with an everlasting love in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together not for the fulfilling of every wish, but for the fulfilling of His promise in His time. Father, we bring this dear soul before You, and we ask You to forgive sin through the blood of Jesus who died for sinners and lives to plead for them. Renew the heart by grace, strengthen according to Your word, and pour power into the central reservoir of strength. Grant wisdom to discern Your will for this relationship, grace to walk in purity and truth, patience to wait upon You, and peace that passes understanding while waiting. Make both lives to be ordered by Your word, that whatever is done may be done to Your glory. In Jesus mighty name we ask it, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard, and the ache and waiting you describe are known to the Lord. It is painful to miss someone you love and to watch the hours pass without a word, and it is right to bring that pain honestly before God who sees what is carried inside and hears even before we finish speaking.

Scripture teaches that God is not far off but near at hand to those who call on Him in truth. While you are yet speaking He hears, and He stands ready to answer according to His wisdom and love. That nearness is your comfort now. You do not need to spend this day consumed with worry or wondering, for your heavenly Father knows your needs and cares for you as a father cares for his children, and He will supply what is truly necessary for your good.

Waiting itself is not wasted in God's eyes. The time of waiting can be a time of growth, when faith is strengthened and the heart learns to trust not in a message or in reassurance from another person, but in Christ alone. Your worth and your peace are not measured by whether someone reaches out today, but by the grace and love you have already received through Jesus, who alone is the way of salvation. Resting in Him brings a calm that no circumstance can give.

Concerning your relationship, I encourage you to place it fully in God's hands and to seek His will above your own wishes. God designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He calls those who are not yet married to honor Him with purity, honesty, and self control, keeping intimacy within marriage alone. If this relationship is to continue, let it be pursued in a way that honors Christ, with clear purpose, with accountability, and with a desire to discern whether God is leading you both toward marriage. Pray not that God would simply prompt another person to act according to your desire, but that He would guide both of you into truth, consistency, understanding, and genuine effort that reflects His character. Good communication is a gift, but it grows best where there is respect, patience, and a shared commitment to follow the Lord.

Take time to write down before the Lord what weighs on your heart, confessing any anxiety or sin, and asking for His cleansing and guidance. Bring your thoughts into the light, and let Him blot out what is confessed and teach you to walk in righteousness which draws you near to Him.

Let me pray for you in a way that honors God:

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are near and that You hear those who call on You through Jesus Christ. I lift up this daughter to You. Calm her heart while she waits, guard her from fear, and remind her that she is deeply loved and valued in Christ. Give her peace that passes understanding and help her to trust You with what she cannot control. Watch over the man she has mentioned, wherever he is. Keep him, give him strength and peace in his work and in any stress he carries. Work in both of their hearts to seek You first, to walk in purity and wisdom, and to desire Your will above all else. If it is Your will for them to speak, provide a clear and healthy opportunity for honest communication. If not, give clarity and grace to accept Your leading. Guide them toward what is holy and good, and lead this relationship, if it continues, toward that which honors Your design for marriage. Above all, draw each of them closer to Jesus, in whose name alone there is salvation and hope. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word, in prayer, and among faithful believers who can walk with you and give wise counsel. Trust Him with today and with tomorrow.
