We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you for your brother. We have continued to lift him up before the Lord and we remember his specific needs, that he is a retired veteran of the Air Force who has served and traveled much, and now is dealing with back issues and the need for financial benefits and back pay to qualify for medical help and support. We have also been praying for his court situation concerning the DUI with the conflict between two states that continues to hold him up and is waiting for resolution and to be thrown out of court, and for the upcoming time in October.
We are especially praying that during this difficult season the Lord will draw him to Himself, since he is seeking God but does not yet know Him, and that God will make Himself known to him in a personal way and lead him into the purpose God has for him to be able to help himself and to help others.
Father we lift up this brother to You and ask for Your mercy and favor over his court case, that You would bring clarity where there is conflict and confusion between the states and that justice would be done and the matter would be resolved without further delay. We ask for Your healing hand upon his back and for Your provision for his financial and medical needs. Above all we pray that You would open his heart to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour and guide him into new life and hope in Christ. We stand on Your promise that You will supply all our need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus as written in Phil 4:19. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
