We hear your heart and stand with you before the Lord, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer. First, we must acknowledge that all things are under God’s sovereign will, and He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). If this person or circumstance is not aligned with His will for your life, we trust that He will remove it in His perfect timing and wisdom.
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and this relationship in light of Scripture. If this individual is not a believer, we are called not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this is a romantic relationship outside of marriage, we must remind you that God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). If there has been sexual immorality, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness, for He is faithful and just to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
If this relationship is not honoring to God, we rebuke the enemy’s attempts to entangle you in anything that would draw you away from the Lord. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that God will break every chain that does not align with His will for your life.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You reveal Your will clearly. If this person or circumstance is not part of Your plan for ’s life, we ask that You remove it completely. Give the strength and wisdom to surrender this to You, trusting in Your perfect timing and purposes.
Father, we ask that You search ’s heart and reveal any areas where sin or disobedience may be present. If there has been fornication, idolatry, or any other unrighteousness, we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. Lead into repentance and restoration, that they may walk in holiness and purity before You.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, bondage, or deception that may be at work in this situation. We declare that is set free by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Fill with Your peace and clarity, and let Your Holy Spirit guide every step they take.
We pray for godly relationships in ’s life, friendships, courtships, and ultimately a marriage that honors You. Surround with believers who will encourage them in their faith and hold them accountable. If it is Your will for to marry, we ask that You bring forth a spouse who loves You above all else, one who will walk in righteousness and lead with godly wisdom.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises and declare that ’s life is in Your hands. May Your will be done, and may grow closer to You through this season. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and Scripture, asking Him to confirm His will for this situation. Spend time in His presence, for He promises that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). Surround yourself with godly counsel, and be willing to obey whatever He reveals to you, even if it is difficult. Remember, God’s plans for you are for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
