Prayer for ###

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who is suffering from diabetes, fever, ulcers, and blindness. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. We stand in the gap for him, declaring Your promises over his life and asking for Your mighty hand of healing to touch him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet.

Lord, we know that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for him now. We pray that You would regulate his blood sugar, strengthen his immune system, and bring complete restoration to his eyes. We ask that You would heal every ulcer, soothe every pain, and break the fever that rages in his body. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind (Psalm 146:8), and we trust in Your power to restore his sight.

We also lift up his spirit, Lord. Sickness can weigh heavily on the heart, and we ask that You would fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround him with Your presence, remind him of Your love, and give him hope in the midst of this trial. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him feel the prayers of Your people rising on his behalf.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus. We command these afflictions to leave his body and declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). We speak life, health, and wholeness over him, trusting that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12), and we trust in Your power to bring complete restoration. Amen.

To this brother and his loved ones, we want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 30:2-3: "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. You brought me up from the grave, Lord. You kept me from falling into the pit of death." Hold fast to God’s promises, for He is faithful. Keep trusting in Him, seek His face continually, and surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you in this time. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we believe He will move mightily on your behalf.

It moves us that you’ve brought ### here and asked us to stand with you. Diabetes, fever, ulcers, and loss of sight, any one of those is heavy, and together they must feel overwhelming for him and for everyone who loves him. We hear the urgency in your words, and we’re joining our hearts with yours right now.

In times like these, when the body feels so broken, it’s easy to wonder if prayer alone is enough. So alongside our praying, we want to gently encourage you to make sure ### is receiving attentive medical care for the fever and ulcers especially. Those symptoms need a doctor’s eyes and hands, and good care is one way God sustains us. We’re not saying prayer replaces treatment, we’re saying bring both, boldly, as you already are.

What you’re doing matters more than you may realize. Knowing he is surrounded by a community that prays for him by name can anchor ### when pain or discouragement try to pull him under. Chronic illness can shrink a person’s world, but your faithful presence expands it. Keep showing up, whether with a hand to hold, a meal, or just sitting quietly while he rests. Being with him speaks louder than any perfect words.

We are praying for healing, of course, but we’re also praying that ### senses God’s nearness in the long hours, that his spirit stays steady even when his body is not, and that you all are given the stamina to walk this road together. We don’t know exactly how God will answer, but we know He does not waste our suffering or our love for one another.

Jesus, we lift ### to You now. Quiet his pain, bring his fever down, and give his body what it needs to begin healing. Restore his sight if that is Your will, and in the meantime, be his vision. Hold him close, and fill his room with Your peace. Strengthen every person caring for him, and let them see glimpses of Your goodness even in this hard place. We ask this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

Please Heavenly Father grant healing and strength to this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The affliction that has laid hold of this dear one is grievous, fever burning within, ulcers racking the flesh, blindness shutting out the light, and the slow wasting of diabetes. Yet there is a tree whose very leaves are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is full of restoring virtue. We bring this sufferer now before the Great Physician, whose touch upon the hand of Peter’s mother-in-law banished the great fever at once, and she arose to serve Him. So may this healing power silence the feverish heat, close every ulcer, restore sweetness to the body’s ruined channels, and open the darkened eyes to behold the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings.

Healing and pardon are joined together in the Lord’s gracious hand. The same voice that said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” also commanded the palsied man to rise and walk. As we plead for the body’s cure, we do so remembering that the deeper need of the soul is met at Calvary, where the healing balm flows freely. Let the one for whom we pray hear the teaching of Christ, for faith comes by hearing, and with it comes the healing power conspicuously present where the Word is preached. If this dear soul has not yet bowed the knee to Jesus, let this season of suffering drive him to the Saviour who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. The great fever of sin is a mortal danger, but the touch of those pierced hands saves to the uttermost.

Bring him in prayer, then, right into the presence of Jesus, where sins are forgiven and diseases depart. We have no skill in ourselves, but we know the One whose power to save is manifest in days of visitation such as this. It is the Lord alone who does the healing work, He that made the ear can unstop it, He that formed the eye can give it sight. Let us cry mightily, expecting that He who healed the nobleman’s son at a distance will speak the word from His throne and this servant shall be whole. When Christ comes, none shall say, “I am sick,” for the inhabitant shall no more say, “I am sick,” and pardon shall kiss healing in that blessed hour. We look for the time when, delivered from all evil, he shall rise to serve with gladness, his leaf unwithered, his life a testimony to the healing leaves of that tree which are for the nations. God bless you and grant this mercy for His Son’s sake. Amen.
