First, we want to affirm your desire to grow in godliness and to honor others with your words and actions. The fact that you recognize your mistake and are bringing it before the Lord is evidence of a humble and repentant heart, which He delights in (1 Peter 5:5-6).
Your prayer mentions seeking restoration, and we want to gently remind you that while reconciliation is a beautiful thing, it must always be aligned with God’s will. If this young man is a brother in Christ, we encourage you to approach him with humility, acknowledging your misstep and seeking his forgiveness if appropriate.
