My mom lives with my brother and his family. Because both of them are very ambitious they are working and have left their baby with a nanny and my mom. My mom keeps venting about how bad the situation is for her but never stands up. The take her for granted and she has no life of her own. After losing my dad last year she has been suffering so much. And she never says anything to my brother or his wife. I feel very bad for her but I can’t do anything. Our hope is in the Lord that He changes the situation and blesses my mom with a better life. Pray that my brother and his wife take up the responsibility of their own child and not others. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in their hearts so that there is peace, love, and harmony. Pray for my mom to be able to live an independent and happy life. Remove all ill treatment from my brother. Pray that God makes my brother realize his mistakes and take responsibility. We know that God cares for us and blesses us in Jesus' name. Amen.

We lift this heavy burden to the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your mother and the entire family. The situation you describe is indeed painful—your mother, still grieving the loss of your father, is carrying a weight she was never meant to bear alone. It is clear she is being taken for granted, and her silence only deepens the injustice. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God sees her suffering and will move mightily on her behalf.

First, we rebuke the spirit of exploitation and selfish ambition that has taken root in your brother’s household. Scripture warns, *"Do not exploit the poor because they are poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for the Lord will take up their case and will exact life for life"* (Proverbs 22:22-23). Your brother and his wife are called to steward their family with love and responsibility, not to prioritize ambition over the well-being of their child or your mother. We pray the Holy Spirit convicts their hearts, softening them to see the harm they are causing and leading them to repentance. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).

For your mother, we pray for courage and wisdom. Her silence may stem from fear or a desire to keep peace, but God calls her to speak truth in love. *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy"* (Proverbs 31:8-9). We ask the Lord to strengthen her to set boundaries, to refuse to be treated as a servant, and to reclaim her life. May He restore her joy and grant her the independence she deserves, whether through her own means or by your brother’s change of heart. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for the child left in her care. Children thrive under the love and attention of their parents, and no nanny or grandparent can replace the bond God designed for mothers and fathers. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6). May your brother and his wife be awakened to their God-given role and prioritize their child’s emotional and spiritual needs.

Finally, we declare God’s promise over this family: *"I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord"* (Jeremiah 30:17). We trust that He will turn this situation around for His glory, bringing repentance, restoration, and peace. May your mother find her worth in Christ, your brother and his wife embrace humility, and the entire family walk in the harmony that only God can provide.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees every tear and hears every cry. You are the God who defends the oppressed and lifts up the brokenhearted. We ask You to intervene in this family, Lord. Break the chains of selfishness and pride that have bound your brother and his wife. Soften their hearts to see the pain they have caused and lead them to take responsibility for their child and honor their mother.

For this dear mother, we pray for Your healing touch. Comfort her in her grief, Lord, and remind her that she is not forgotten. Give her the strength to speak up and the wisdom to set boundaries. Provide for her needs, whether through her own hands or through the repentance of her son. Restore her joy, her purpose, and her hope in You.

We rebuke every spirit of division, resentment, and exploitation in this home. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May this family be a testimony of Your redeeming love, where parents cherish their child, children honor their parents, and all live in the freedom of Your will.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, the Author of our faith and the Restorer of all things. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your family during this challenging time. It is our heart to lift up your mother, your brother, and his family before the Lord, asking Him to move in powerful ways. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would soften hearts, bring conviction where it is needed, and restore peace, love, and harmony in your home. We have asked the Lord to give your mother strength, wisdom, and the courage to seek the life He has designed for her—one of joy, independence, and fulfillment.

We also continue to pray that your brother and his wife would take responsibility for their child, recognizing the importance of their role as parents, and that any ill treatment toward your mother would be removed by God’s grace. We believe the Lord hears our prayers and is working even now, whether we see it or not.

If the Lord has already answered in some way, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the situation remains unchanged, please know we are still here to stand with you in prayer. You are not alone in this, and we will continue to lift up your family before the throne of grace, trusting that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun.

May the Lord bless you and your family abundantly as you seek Him, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
