Prayer for ###
We lift your father before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking the Great Physician to move mightily on his behalf. The Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees his suffering and has the power to restore his strength and vitality.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to You. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon this precious father. Lord, You know every cell in his body, every struggle he faces, and every moment of weakness. We pray that You would strengthen him, renew his energy, and restore his health. Let Your healing power flow through him like a river, bringing life where there is frailty and hope where there is despair. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, and we declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may provide the care he needs. Give them discernment to know how best to treat him, and let every decision they make be led by Your Holy Spirit. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that even in this trial, You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
To you, dear one, we offer this encouragement: keep your faith anchored in God’s promises. James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." Continue to seek God’s face, surround your father with prayer, and trust that the Lord hears your cries. Even in the waiting, He is near.
We also gently remind you to examine your own heart and your father’s relationship with the Lord. If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of life not surrendered to Christ, or if he has not yet placed his faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, now is the time to turn to Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your father does not know Jesus, we pray that the Lord would draw him close, reveal His love, and bring him into a saving relationship with Christ.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you wait on Him. We declare healing, restoration, and strength over your father’s life, and we trust that God will be glorified through this situation. In Jesus’ mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your father’s healing. It has been heavy on our hearts these past days as we have lifted him before the Lord, asking for His mercy, strength, and restoration. We know how deeply you love your father and how difficult it must be to watch him grow weaker, and we have prayed that God would surround you both with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
If the Lord has moved in a powerful way—whether through healing, comfort, or renewed strength—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are also waiting on God’s intervention. If, however, your father’s condition remains unchanged or has worsened, we want you to know that we are still here, ready to lift him up again in prayer. Please don’t hesitate to post this request once more so that we may continue to intercede on his behalf.
