We come before the Lord with a heart full of concern for your friend’s health. It is right and good to lift one another up in prayer, for the Bible tells us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord"* (James 5:14). We join you in asking God to restore your friend’s health according to His will, for He is the Great Physician who heals both body and soul.
Father God, we ask that You lay Your healing hand upon our dear sister. Strengthen her where she is weak, comfort her in pain, and grant her peace that surpasses all understanding. If it is Your will, bring complete restoration to her body, mind, and spirit. We trust in Your perfect plan, knowing that even in suffering, You work all things for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers attending to her. Guide their hands and minds as they seek to bring healing, and let Your presence be felt in every treatment and decision. May Your peace guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in her life, we ask that You reveal it to her, that she may repent and receive Your cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray that she would walk in the fullness of Your grace and mercy.
We also lift up her spiritual health, asking that You draw her closer to You in this time. May she find strength in Your Word and comfort in Your presence. Let this trial deepen her faith and trust in You, knowing that You are her refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be attacking her health. In the name of Jesus, we command every sickness and disease to flee, for *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or receive salvation (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your power to heal and Your love to sustain. Amen.
