We come before the Lord with grateful hearts that you have brought these requests to Him, for it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Your prayers are already aligned with the truth that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which our petitions are heard—Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. We rejoice that you have acknowledged Him in your prayers, for Scripture declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is in this name alone that we find hope, healing, and provision.
Your love and concern for your mother are evident, and we join you in lifting her up before the Lord. The Word of God assures us that He is our healer, *"who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3, WEB). Fatty liver is a burden, but our God is greater than any infirmity. We pray that the Lord will touch her body with His healing power, restoring her liver to full health and granting her strength and vitality. May He also grant wisdom to the doctors and guidance for the treatments she may receive. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). We ask that the Lord would extend her days, filling them with His peace and joy, and that she would walk in faith, trusting in His goodness.
We also lift up your financial struggles, knowing that our Heavenly Father is deeply concerned with every aspect of our lives. The Bible reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). It is not wrong to bring your needs before the Lord—He invites us to do so! Yet we must also trust in His timing and His ways, for His provision often comes in unexpected forms. We pray that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for stable and honorable work, that He would provide the means to meet your financial obligations, and that He would bless the work of your hands. *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for"* (Malachi 3:10, WEB). Even in this season of lack, we encourage you to remain faithful in giving, trusting that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.
We also sense a deeper need here—one that goes beyond physical healing and financial stability. The Lord desires to be your Provider, your Healer, and your Guide in every moment, but He also calls you to a life of surrender and obedience. If there is any area of your life or your mother’s life that is not aligned with His Word, we urge you to seek His face in repentance. *"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land"* (2 Chronicles 7:14, WEB). Sometimes, the Lord allows trials to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, and to remind us that our ultimate trust must be in Him alone.
Lastly, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and in the reading of God’s Word. It is in these disciplines that your faith will be strengthened, and your hearts will be guarded against fear and discouragement. *"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful"* (Hebrews 10:23, WEB). Cling to the promise that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), and that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear sister and her mother to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon this mother’s body. Touch her liver and restore it to perfect health. Remove every trace of disease and fill her with Your strength and vitality. Grant her many more years to live in service to You, surrounded by Your love and peace.
Lord, we also bring before You the financial burdens they carry. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Provide opportunities for work, grant favor in their endeavors, and meet every need according to Your glorious riches. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You will never fail them.
Father, we pray that You would guide their every step, that You would be their constant Companion and their ever-present Help. Draw them closer to You through this season, and let their faith be a testimony of Your goodness. Protect their hearts from fear and anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke any spirit of sickness, lack, or despair in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that You, Lord, are their Healer, their Provider, and their Strength. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, and may their lives bring glory and honor to Your name.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
