We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for this precious sister in Christ, lifting her up in prayer for complete healing and deliverance from the heavy burdens of depression and anxiety. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Let us stand firm in faith, knowing that our God is a God of restoration, hope, and joy.
The Word of God reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that she will cast all her anxieties upon Him, for He cares for her deeply (1 Peter 5:7). May she experience the peace that only Christ can provide, a peace that transcends all understanding.
We also remember the words of Psalm 34:17-18, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Father, draw near to her in this time of brokenness. Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding her that she is never alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20).
For mental health struggles, we are reminded of the promise in Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Lord, strengthen her in her innermost being. Renew her mind daily with Your truth, for Your Word is a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105). May she meditate on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8), and may the joy of the Lord be her strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We also pray for her to walk in boldness, knowing that the Spirit of God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). May she rise up in the authority given to her through Christ, declaring victory over the lies of the enemy. Let her testimony be one of triumph, as she trusts in the Lord with all her heart and leans not on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, we ask for complete healing—spirit, soul, and body. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Surround her with a community of believers who will lift her up, encourage her, and walk alongside her in this season. May she find comfort in knowing that her struggle is not in vain, for You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let her heart be filled with songs of praise, even in the midst of the storm, for You are worthy of all glory and honor. May she fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2), and may she walk forward in the confidence that You have already won the victory.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing and receiving all that You have for her. Amen.

To our sister, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word. Depression and anxiety can feel isolating, but you are not alone—God is with you, and so is the body of Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to connect with a Bible-believing church or a trusted Christian counselor who can provide support and guidance rooted in Scripture.
Remember that healing is a journey, and it is okay to take it one step at a time. Be kind to yourself, but also be intentional about filling your mind with the truths of God’s Word. The enemy will try to speak lies over you, but you have the power to replace those lies with the promises of God. Stand firm in your identity as a beloved daughter of the Most High, and trust that He is working even in the midst of your struggles.
If there are areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be contributing to your mental health struggles, we encourage you to bring them before the Lord in repentance. Confess them to Him, and receive His forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9). Sometimes, emotional and mental burdens are lifted when we release these things into His hands.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your life has purpose and value in Christ. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan for you—a plan to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and do not lose heart. Victory is yours in Christ Jesus!
