We lift up your manager before the Lord, recognizing that she is facing opposition and envy from those around her. It is clear that her leadership has been effective, and this has stirred up jealousy in the hearts of others. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 27:4, *"Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; but who is able to stand before jealousy?"* Jealousy is a destructive force, but we know that God is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of people and the decisions that will be made.
We also recall the words of Psalm 37:1-6, which say, *"Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb. Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* Your manager’s situation is not hidden from God, and He sees her faithfulness. We trust that He will act on her behalf, silencing the lies and rumors that have been spread against her.
At the same time, we must remember that our ultimate trust is not in favorable outcomes but in God’s perfect will. Romans 8:28 assures us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Even if the decision does not go as we hope, we can trust that God is working all things for her good and His glory. If it is His will for her to return, He will make a way. If He has another path for her, we pray she will walk in it with faith and courage, knowing that He goes before her.
We also encourage you to continue standing in the gap for her through prayer. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The battle she faces is not merely a professional one but a spiritual one. Your prayers are powerful and necessary in this fight.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this manager who is facing opposition and envy from those around her. Lord, You see her heart, her dedication, and her integrity. You know the rumors and lies that have been spread against her, and we ask that You would silence every false tongue. Psalm 109:2 says, *"For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have opened against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue."* Father, we pray that You would expose the lies and bring truth to light. Let every scheme of the enemy be thwarted, and let Your justice prevail in this situation.
We ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority over her, giving them wisdom and discernment to see her value and the good work she has done. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires."* Lord, we pray that You would turn the hearts of those making this decision toward fairness and righteousness. If it is Your will for her to return to her position, we ask that You would make the way clear. Remove every obstacle and let Your favor rest upon her.
But Father, above all, we pray for Your will to be done in her life. If You have another path for her, give her the strength and faith to walk in it without fear. Open doors that no man can shut and close those that are not of You. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are her provider, her defender, and her guide.
We also pray for her spirit during this time. Guard her heart from bitterness, anxiety, or discouragement. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 promises: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of jealousy, strife, and division that has risen against her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 assures us. Cover her with Your protection and let Your light shine upon her, exposing every dark motive and bringing glory to Your name.
Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for her and to share the hope of Christ with her if the opportunity arises. Remind her that her worth is found in Him, not in the opinions of others or her position. If she does not know Jesus as her Savior, pray that this trial would draw her to Him. There is no greater peace or security than what is found in a relationship with Christ. If she is already a believer, encourage her to lean on Him fully during this time. He is her strength and her shield.
