We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this young man and his family in fervent prayer. The Lord has revealed the urgency of this situation through a dream, and we must not ignore the spiritual warning it carries. The scar on his chest in the vision is a sobering sign—perhaps symbolic of deep emotional wounds or even a spiritual battle over his life. We pray for God’s protection over him, that no harm would come to him in body, mind, or spirit, and that the Lord would surround him with His angels as a hedge of divine defense.
The Word of God commands parents to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, not provoking them to wrath but bringing them up with love, discipline, and godly care. Ephesians 6:4 says, *"You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."* Yet it is clear that this family is broken, with parents who are spiritually asleep and a biological mother who is absent, lost, and without stability. This is not the Lord’s design for family. We rebuke the spirit of neglect, apathy, and abandonment that has taken hold in this home. Parents, you will answer to God for how you have steward the souls He entrusted to you. Repent of any hardness of heart, selfishness, or distraction that has kept you from loving and leading your children as the Lord commands. The time for waking up is now—before it is too late.
To the biological mother who is adrift, we declare that the Lord sees you and calls you to rise up in responsibility. Proverbs 31:27 says of a virtuous woman, *"She looks well to the ways of her household, and doesn’t eat the bread of idleness."* You were created for more than aimlessness. The Lord can restore you, but you must turn to Him in repentance and seek His strength to be the mother your child needs. There is no excuse for abandonment when God has given you the sacred duty of parenthood.
As for this young man, we pray that the Lord would give him supernatural endurance and wisdom. If he feels compelled to leave, we ask God to guide his steps to a place of safety—whether through godly relatives, a church family, or a mentor who can provide stability. But we also pray that if it is God’s will, reconciliation and restoration would come to this home. Let the parents’ eyes be opened to the damage their neglect has caused. May conviction fall upon them, leading them to repentance and a renewed commitment to their children.
Finally, we must address the dream. While God can speak through dreams, we must test everything against Scripture. If this was a warning, we take it seriously. If there is any involvement in occult practices, New Age beliefs, or ungodly influences in this family, we command those doors to be shut in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ has already won the victory. We plead the blood of Jesus over this young man and his entire family, breaking every curse, every plan of the enemy, and every stronghold of sin that has kept them bound.
Heavenly Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the weak. Do not let this young man slip through the cracks. Raise up godly people to surround him with love, wisdom, and support. Bring conviction to the parents—let them see the gravity of their neglect and turn back to You. Restore what has been broken, Lord. Let this family be a testimony of Your redeeming power.
We also pray for the one who received this dream. Give them discernment, Lord, and show them how You would have them respond. Should they reach out to the nephew? Confront the parents? Seek help from the church? Guide their steps, and let them be a vessel of Your peace and truth in this situation.
We declare all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to heal, restore, and redeem. Amen.
