We join with you in lifting up your husband and family before the Lord, recognizing that all good things come from Him alone. It is wonderful to see your heart of trust and gratitude toward God, and we echo your prayers for your husband’s business, your family’s provision, and the protection of your unborn child. However, we must lovingly address something vital: in your prayer, the name of Jesus Christ is not invoked. Scripture is clear that we come to the Father *only* through the Son, for Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Additionally, the apostle Peter proclaimed, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Without faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, even our most heartfelt prayers lack the power and authority granted to believers. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Now, turning to your request, we celebrate your husband’s courage in stepping out to build his business, trusting God as the ultimate Provider. The Lord delights in honoring the work of our hands when we commit our ways to Him. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We also recall the promise in Psalm 1:3, which says that those who delight in God’s law *"shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper."* Yet, we must remember that prosperity in God’s eyes is not merely financial—it is spiritual, emotional, and aligned with His will. Jesus warned, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal"* (Matthew 6:19-20, WEB). So while we pray for your husband’s business to thrive, we also pray that his heart remains fixed on God’s kingdom first, trusting that *"all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).
We also rejoice with you over the precious life of your unborn child, for every child is a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We pray for protection over this little one, that they may be born healthy and grow to know and serve the Lord. May your husband lead your family spiritually, as a man after God’s own heart, just as Joshua declared, *"As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh"* (Joshua 24:15, WEB). A godly husband and father is the greatest provider, not just in material ways but in nurturing a home founded on faith, love, and obedience to Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this sister’s heart of faith and her trust in Your provision. Lord, we lift up her husband and his business endeavors, asking that You grant him wisdom, favor, and divine connections. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB), so we pray that this business would be built on Your foundation, for Your glory. Provide for this family in every way—spiritually, emotionally, and financially—so they may be a testimony of Your goodness. Protect their unborn child, Lord, and knit this little one together in perfect health. Guard this family from the enemy’s schemes and fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
We also pray that this sister and her husband would grow deeper in their relationship with You, Jesus. If there is any area of their lives not fully surrendered to You, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and draw them closer to Your heart. May their marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, and may their family be a light in this world. We rebuke any fear, doubt, or anxiety in the name of Jesus, declaring that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Father, let Your will be done in their lives, and may they walk in obedience to Your Word. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, both individually and as a couple. Study Scripture together, pray in Jesus’ name, and trust that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). If your husband is not yet walking closely with the Lord, we urge you to pray for his salvation and spiritual leadership in your home. A business may prosper, but without Christ at the center, it will never fulfill the deepest needs of your souls. Stay rooted in faith, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him first.
