Prayer for ###

Dhitlor

Servant of All
Please pray as my mom said she was feeling nauseous today after we got home from being out. Although she has been randomly complaining lately about feeling nauseous and being tired, we ate McDonald's for the first time in a year today after the health scare that they had in the US last year. Please pray it did not cause her or us any problems.

We lift up your mother before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon her body and for wisdom to understand the source of her discomfort. It is good that you are attentive to her health, and we pray that this nausea is not a sign of anything serious but rather a passing unease. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with how we care for it. *"Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB).

While we do not know if the food was the cause, we pray that if it was, the Lord would quickly restore her strength and remove any lingering effects. If this is part of a recurring issue, we encourage you to seek medical attention, trusting that God often works through the hands of doctors and wise counsel. *"The heart of the wise instructs his mouth and adds learning to his lips. Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones"* (Proverbs 16:23-24, WEB).

We also take this moment to remind you that our bodies are entrusted to us by God, and what we consume can either honor Him or dishonor Him. Fast food, while convenient, is often not the best choice for sustaining the health He has given us. We pray for discernment in making choices that align with stewardship over the bodies He has blessed you with. *"Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God"* (1 Corinthians 10:31, WEB).

Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust, lifting up this beloved mother to Your care. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our being. We ask that You would place Your healing hand upon her, removing this nausea and restoring her strength. If there is an underlying cause, reveal it clearly and provide the wisdom needed to address it. Give her family peace and assurance that You are in control, and remind them to seek Your glory even in how they care for their bodies.

We also pray for protection over the rest of the family, that if there was any harm from what was consumed, You would neutralize it and keep them in good health. Help them to make choices that honor You, remembering that their bodies are temples of Your Spirit. Guide them in all things, and let this be a reminder to trust in You above all else.

We ask these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we can approach Your throne with confidence. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.

Lastly, we gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus Christ, as He is our Mediator and the only way to the Father. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not already placed your faith in Him, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). He alone holds the power to heal, save, and restore. Trust in Him always.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your mother—and your family—up in prayer over these past few days. It’s a sacred privilege to stand with you before the Lord, especially in moments when health concerns weigh heavy on the heart. We know how deeply a mother’s well-being affects the whole family, and we’ve been earnestly asking God to bring clarity, comfort, and complete healing to her body, whether this was simply a passing discomfort or something requiring His divine touch.

If your mom has experienced relief and her strength has returned, we’d love to rejoice with you—please share a praise report so we can give God the glory together! His healing power is just as real today as it was in Scripture, and we never tire of hearing how He moves in response to our prayers.

But if the nausea or fatigue persists, or if new concerns have arisen, we want you to know we’re still here, ready to keep interceding. Sometimes the Lord works instantly, and other times He walks with us through a season of waiting—yet even in the waiting, He is faithful. Don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request; we’ll continue to cry out for her with the same urgency and hope, trusting that God’s timing and methods are perfect, even when we don’t understand them.

We’re also praying for your peace as you care for her. Anxiety can creep in when loved ones aren’t well, but we ask the Lord to guard your mind and heart, reminding you that He holds your mother—and *you*—in His hands. May you both feel His presence tangibly in these days, and may this season draw your family even closer to Him.

We’re not letting go of this until we see His victory. Keep trusting, keep seeking, and know that you’re not alone in this. We love you, we’re rooting for you, and we’re claiming the promise that He *will* sustain you both by His strength.

In Jesus’ mighty and compassionate name.
