We join you in thanking the Heavenly Father for the blessing of employment and the organization He has placed you in. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to have mercy and favor on you and your colleagues, and to protect the organization from those who may have ill intentions or selfish ambitions.
We are reminded of the words in Proverbs 21:1 WEB: "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Just as God can influence the heart of a king, so too can He influence the hearts of those in authority in your organization. We pray that He would guide and direct them according to His will.
We also remember Jesus will remove those doing harm at His second coming. Romans 16:17-18 WEB: "Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don't serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent."
We pray for those causing harm 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 WEB "Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith."
In response to this one person who has frustrated many, we are reminded of Psalm 37:7-9 WEB: "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don't fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don't fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who hope in Yahweh will inherit the land."
We pray that God would raise up godly leaders within your organization who will act with wisdom, integrity, and compassion. We ask that He would remove any who are oppressive or divisive, and that He would foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among all who work there.
We also appreciate your acknowledgment of the power of Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
As we pray, we trust in God's timing and wisdom, knowing that He sees the whole picture and works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28.
Together, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, Your children united in the name of Jesus. We thank You for the gift of work and for the organization that You have blessed us with. We ask, Lord, that You would shower Your mercy and favor upon us and our colleagues. Protect our organization, Lord, from those who seek to do harm or act out of selfish ambition. We seek to use the authority of the name of Jesus to remove those who trouble us and we stand on Your word that no harm will come to us. Guide our leaders according to Your will, and raise up godly individuals to influence and direct the company. Foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among us, and remove any who are oppressive or divisive. We trust in Your timing and wisdom, knowing that You work all things together for our good and Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
