We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your desire for a godly spouse. We commend you for your faith and trust in God's almighty hand to bring about the supernatural connections and circumstances necessary for you to meet your future spouse. We pray that God will bring a medical doctor wife if it is His will, but we focus on seeking His will for your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's kingdom and righteousness above all else. The Bible tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). As you prioritize your relationship with God, He will guide you in every area of your life, including your desire for marriage.
We also want to encourage you to be content in your current circumstances, trusting that God is working everything out for your good. As it is written, "Let your manner of life be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you'" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). God knows your needs and desires, and He will provide for you according to His riches in glory.
Regarding your financial situation, we pray that God will provide for your needs and give you wisdom to manage your finances well. Remember that God is not concerned with your status or income, but with your heart and your love for Him. As you seek Him first, He will provide for you and bless you in ways you cannot imagine.
We also want to remind you of the importance of preparing yourself spiritually for marriage. This includes growing in your relationship with God, studying His Word, and seeking His will for your life. It also includes praying for your future spouse, that God would prepare her heart and bring her into your life at the right time.
We also need to be careful of idolatry. Be careful that your desire for marriage does not become an idol. Idolatry is forbidden. It is written, "You shall have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:3 WEB). Some examples of idols are money, cars, houses, fame, or marriage. Do not let marriage become an idol to you. In particular do not become obsessed with your future spouse's profession. "An idol is nothing in the world, and there is no God but one" (1 Corinthians 8:4 WEB).
As you pray for your future spouse, remember to pray for her spiritual growth and her relationship with God. Pray that God would bring her into your life at the right time, and that He would prepare both of your hearts for marriage.
Finally, we want to encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing. It is written, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh" (Psalm 27:14 WEB). God is faithful, and He will bring about His will for your life in His perfect timing.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother in prayer. We thank You for his faith and trust in You, and we ask that You would guide him in every area of his life. We pray that You would bring a godly spouse into his life if it is Your will, and that You would prepare both of their hearts for marriage. We ask that You would provide for his financial needs and give him wisdom to manage his finances well. We pray that he would be content in his current circumstances, trusting in Your provision and care. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, amen.
We will continue to pray for you and trust that God will guide you in every area of your life.
