Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with a humble heart, lifting up our helper to You. Lord, You know her heart, her situation, and the influences surrounding her. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You border her steps according to Your will. Draw her close to You, Lord, and place a desire in her heart to return tomorrow, if it is within Your divine plan.

We pray for her parents and her boyfriend—enlighten their hearts and minds, O God. Let them see Your truth and goodness. Guide them away from confusion or fear, and give them peace, so they may support the path You have for her.

Lord, align her decisions with Your purpose, and protect her from any scheme that is not from You. May she be reminded of Your love, Your peace, and the blessing of being where she is meant to be.

Let everything fall into place according to Your perfect timing and in Your perfect way.

We join you in lifting up your helper to the Lord, praying that His will be done in her life. We come together in Jesus Christ name, and His name alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can bring our petitions.

You have prayed for your helper's parents and her boyfriend. First, we must address that the Bible teaches us to not be bound together with unbelievers. And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." Therefore, " 'Come out from among them, and be separate,' says the Lord, 'and touch no unclean thing. I will receive you, and I will be to you a Father, and you will be to me sons and daughters,' says the Lord Almighty." 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 WEB. We encourage you to pray that your helper is dating a boyfriend that is also a Christian believer and is looking towards marriage. It is good to pray for his salvation if he is not already a follower of Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
