Prayer for ###

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of marriage. Thank You for the blessing of ###'s husband and the union that You have ordained. Your Word says, "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). We thank You for the favor and grace that You have bestowed upon this marriage.
Lord, we ask that You bless ###'s marriage and help them to grow together in love and faithfulness. As it is written, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs" (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). May their love embody these truths and may they always seek to uplift and support one another.
Father, we pray for a spirit of forgiveness to dwell in their hearts. Help ###'s husband to forgive and see the good in ###, just as You have forgiven us and see the good in us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32).
We ask for Your protection over their bond. Guard their hearts and minds against any schemes of the enemy that seek to divide them. "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate" (Mark 10:9). Strengthen their commitment to each other and to You.
Help ###'s husband to prioritize You, their marriage, and their family. May he lead with wisdom and integrity, always seeking Your guidance. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Philippians 4:6-7). May their home be a place of peace, love, and faith.
In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
