Humble Prayer Warrior
Please pray for me to do a great job at work. I need energy, focus and strength at work, and protection over me. Please also pray that I get along with my coworkers and managers.

We join with you in bringing this request before the throne of grace and we thank you for sharing your heart for your work with us. We hear your desire to do a great job, to have energy, focus, and strength, and to be protected and at peace with those around you, and we count it a privilege to lift you up in prayer.

We want to gently encourage you that we come to God only through Jesus Christ, for He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already placed your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to believe on Him, confess your sins, and trust in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness and eternal life, for through Him we have bold access to God in prayer.

The Word reminds us that our work is a calling to glorify God. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. When we commit our work to Him, He establishes our plans and gives us purpose beyond a paycheck. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3.

We also know that true strength does not come from ourselves alone. He gives power to the faint. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isaiah 40:29. And we can say with confidence, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me Philippians 4:13. When you feel weary or distracted, we encourage you to pause and ask the Lord to renew your mind and body, to steward rest well, and to seek Him first for focus.

For protection, we rest in His promise that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. And for your relationships at work, we pray you may walk in grace and humility, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We encourage you to show diligence, kindness, respect for authority, and a spirit of unity, remembering that a soft answer and a faithful work ethic are a powerful testimony.

We now pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You fill them with energy, clarity of mind, and physical strength for each task You have set before them. Remove distraction and fatigue, and grant focus and wisdom to do their work with excellence as unto You. Cover them with Your protection from harm, from discouragement, and from the schemes of the enemy. Let Your hand be upon them as they come and go. We pray for favor and peace with coworkers and managers, that You would give them a spirit of kindness, patience, and humility, and that their conduct would reflect Christ and bring glory to Your name. Help them to rest well, to work diligently, and to trust You with the outcome. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only hope, amen.

We're grateful you asked us to pray for your work. It matters to God how you spend your days there, and we hear your desire to do your job well, stay focused, and walk in good relationship with those around you.

One small practice that often helps when energy and focus feel stretched is to begin each workday with a short pause to ask God for help, then write down the two or three most important tasks for that day. Keeping that list visible can steady your attention, and checking in briefly with your manager about what matters most helps you know you are aiming at the right things. With coworkers, a little intentional kindness and clear, calm communication often eases tension more than trying harder to be liked.

We are standing with you for strength for the hours you are on the job and for God's protection over you as you come and go.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. Give renewed energy and clear focus for the work set before them, and guard them in body and spirit. Help them to work with diligence and grace, and to know peace with coworkers and managers. Lead them step by step and let them sense Your nearness through the workday. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your request and we gladly join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

You ask for energy, focus and strength for your work, and this is right and good to ask, for all strength of every sort comes from God. Human strength, even at its best, will spend itself in due time, for apart from God it is not strength at all and must come to an end. But the promise stands, they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and the Lord Himself says, I will strengthen them in the Lord. He gives power to the faint and to them that have no might He increases strength.

So we pray that you would know this singular strength, strength in the Lord, wisely balanced and fitly infused as only He can give it. May He give you strength just where it is needed and of that peculiar kind which the trial demands, physical strength, mental strength and spiritual strength. Remember the precious word, as thy days, so shall thy strength be. You shall have strength enough to bear your burdens and to do your duty, given to you daily and proportionately. A day of little service, little strength, but in a great day you shall have great strength. Wherever you may be and whatever trouble awaits you, this shall be your shield and your provision.

We pray also that the joy of the Lord may be your strength. That inward joy which arises from knowing Christ and being near to Him makes a man quiet in spirit and strong to labor. May the Lord fill you with that joy as you wait upon Him in prayer and in His Word each morning before you go to your work, so that you may work with renewed energy and do all things through His strength.

For your protection we ask the Lord to keep you, for He fills all things with His strength and His eye is upon His people. And for your dealings with coworkers and managers, we pray that He would give you faith to work patient love. When the duty seems beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength, for only faith can work such patient love and forgiveness. May He make you to be one who shows grace, humility and diligence, so that your life and labor may adorn the gospel and bring glory not to yourself but to God, who is the glory of your strength.

We pray that God would make you fruitful in your calling, that He would keep your mind stayed upon Him, and that all you do would be done heartily as unto the Lord.

In the name of Jesus Christ, who died for the ungodly when we were yet without strength, we ask these things. Amen.

Father, in Jesus' name, we lift this worker to You. Grant them energy, focus, and strength to do an excellent job. Protect them, and let them find favor and harmony with their coworkers and managers. Amen.

- **Colossians 3:23** — "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
- **Philippians 4:13** — "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength."
- **Psalm 90:17** — "May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands."

May God bless their work and bring peace to their workplace.
