Prayer for Work

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Good day I am in ###, and it is very difficult to find work. Please pray for my life to overcome this difficult road after my divorce. I have no life, are just begging family for whatever I need and know that God is my provider, not people. I am ###/### in prayer, but for years I feel stuck, and in big debt. My new husband also has no work, and stress and are depending on alcohol. Please pray for us, I know God can do the Impossible, He is Always looking after me. Thank you Blessings

We lift you up before the Father in heaven, knowing that He sees your struggles and hears your cries. Your faith in God as your Provider is a testament to your trust in Him, even in this season of hardship. We are deeply grieved to hear of the burdens you carry—financial lack, the weight of debt, the pain of divorce, and now the trials in your marriage. Yet we rejoice that you have not lost hope, for you declare with confidence that God can do the impossible. This is true! Nothing is too difficult for Him, and He is indeed always watching over you.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. While you speak of God’s power and provision, we notice that the name of Jesus is not mentioned in your request. This is not a small matter, for Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray with authority. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this, all other prayers lack the power and connection to God that we so desperately need. If you have already accepted Christ, then we encourage you to pray *in His name*, for He is your Mediator and your Hope.

Now, let us speak to the struggles you face. The lack of work is a heavy burden, but we remind you of Jesus’ words: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Your focus must remain on seeking God first, trusting that He will provide as you walk in obedience to Him. This does not mean passivity—you must diligently seek work, use the skills and resources He has given you, and steward well what little you have—but it does mean releasing the anxiety and fear into His hands.

We also see the deep pain in your marriage. Your husband’s reliance on alcohol is a sign of a heart that is turning to something other than God for comfort. This is a spiritual battle, and it must be fought with prayer, love, and truth. Scripture warns, *"Don’t be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit"* (Ephesians 5:18, WEB). Alcohol cannot solve stress; it only deepens the bondage. We urge you to pray fervently for your husband’s deliverance from this stronghold. Speak life over him, and ask God to break the chains of addiction. At the same time, we encourage you to set godly boundaries in your home. If your husband is unwilling to seek help or turn from this sin, you must pray for wisdom on how to respond in a way that honors God while protecting your own heart and well-being.

As for the debt, we know it feels overwhelming, but remember that God owns everything. *"The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it."* (Psalm 24:1, WEB). He is not surprised by your circumstances, and He is able to provide a way out. We encourage you to seek wise counsel, perhaps from your church or a trusted believer, on how to manage and reduce this debt. Proverbs 22:7 tells us, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Break free from this servitude by trusting God to guide you into financial stewardship and discipline.

Lastly, we must address the mention of your divorce. While we do not know the details, we grieve with you over the brokenness it has brought. God’s heart is for marriage to be lifelong, a covenant that reflects Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). If there is any unresolved sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness from that season, we urge you to bring it before the Lord. Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right, but it releases you from the bondage of resentment. *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* (Ephesians 4:32, WEB).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see her struggles—the lack of work, the weight of debt, the pain in her marriage, and the lingering wounds from her past. We ask You to be her Provider, her Healer, and her Deliverer. Open doors of opportunity for work that no man can shut. Give her and her husband favor in the eyes of those who can offer employment. Break the spirit of poverty and lack, and release Your supernatural provision. We rebuke the enemy’s lies that she is forgotten or abandoned—for You, Lord, are her Shepherd, and she shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

Father, we pray for her husband’s heart. Free him from the bondage of alcohol and fill him with Your Spirit. Restore his mind, his strength, and his role as a leader in the home. Give our sister wisdom to know how to support him while also guarding her own heart. Heal their marriage, Lord. Where there is strife, bring peace. Where there is fear, bring faith. Where there is lack, bring abundance.

We speak life over her finances. Provide divine strategies to overcome debt, and give her the discipline and wisdom to steward resources well. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that even in the valley, You are working all things for her good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. Heal the wounds from her divorce, and restore her joy. Surround her with a community of believers who can encourage her, pray with her, and walk alongside her. Let her know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she is not alone—for You are with her always.

We declare that she will see Your hand move mightily in her life. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her rise from this season with a testimony of Your power. May she and her husband seek You first above all else, and may their home be a place where Your peace reigns.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, dear sister. Do not lose heart. Keep praying, keep seeking God, and keep walking in obedience. He is faithful, and He will do what He has promised. *"Let’s not get tired of doing what is good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up."* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). We are standing with you in prayer. May God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Dear friend,

We're here for you, praying alongside you in this tough time. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share some more encouragement and prayer.

First, we want to remind you that God sees you and He cares. He knows the struggles you're going through - the lack of work, the financial strain, the challenges in your marriage. He sees your tears and hears your cries. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is working. He's got a plan, and He's got you in the palm of His hand.

We're also reminded of the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. They were in a tough spot, with no food or water, but God provided for them miraculously. He sent manna from heaven and water from a rock. He can do the same for you. Trust in Him, seek Him first, and watch as He provides.

For your marriage, we want to encourage you to keep praying, keep loving, and keep communicating. The enemy wants to destroy marriages, but God wants to strengthen them. Pray for your husband, ask God to soften his heart and draw him closer to Him. And remember, you can't control his actions, but you can control yours. Respond with love and patience, and trust that God will work in his heart.

As for the debt, we want to remind you that God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He can provide a way out. Trust in Him, be wise with your money, and watch as He works a miracle.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. He's the Author and Finisher of your faith. He's got you, and He's not going to let you down. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep believing.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. Lord, we lift her up before You. We ask that You would provide for her needs - a job, financial breakthrough, healing in her marriage. Lord, we ask that You would give her peace in the midst of her storm, hope for her future, and joy in her heart. We thank You for her, Lord. Thank You for her faith, her resilience, and her love. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen her, encourage her, and guide her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep believing. God's got you, and He's working all things together for your good. We're standing with you, praying for you, and believing with you. You're not alone, and you're going to make it through.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you, your marriage, and your financial struggles before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, believing that our Heavenly Father—who owns the cattle on a thousand hills—will open doors no man can shut and provide in ways that surpass what we can ask or imagine. We know this season has been heavy, marked by the weight of unemployment, debt, and the strain in your home, but we serve a God who specializes in turning ashes into beauty and despair into hope.

If the Lord has begun to move in your circumstances—whether through a job opportunity, a shift in your husband’s heart, or even a renewed sense of peace in the waiting—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting God in their own impossible situation. And if the road still feels long and the answers haven’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue contending with you in prayer, to ask the Lord for supernatural provision, restoration in your marriage, and freedom from the burdens that have kept you bound. You are not forgotten by God, and you are not alone in this fight.

We are also praying specifically for your husband today, that the Lord would break the grip of alcohol and fill him with a hunger for His presence instead. May God grant him a fresh vision for his role as a leader in your home and open doors for meaningful work that brings dignity and purpose. And for you, dear sister, we ask the Lord to guard your heart against discouragement and to remind you daily that He *is* your Provider—even when the bank account says otherwise. Cling to His promises, like the one in Philippians 4:19, that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.

Keep seeking Him, even in the waiting. Keep trusting, even when the path is unclear. We are believing with you for a breakthrough that can only be credited to the power of Jesus. May His peace, which transcends all understanding, flood your home and your heart as you walk this road. We are right here with you, lifting you up before the throne of grace.
