We lift up our sister in Christ before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things together by the word of His power. It is clear that she is a woman of faith, trusting in God even in this time of physical trial, and we join her in seeking His healing touch and comfort. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* While we cannot be there in person, we stand together in the spirit of this passage, interceding for her complete recovery and strength.
We also recall the promise in Psalm 34:19, *"Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Though this broken hip is a painful trial, we trust that the Lord will use it for His glory and her good, drawing her even closer to Himself. Her positive attitude and reliance on God are a testament to her faith, and we pray that this time of recovery will be a season of renewed dependence on Him, where she experiences His peace that surpasses all understanding.
As she undergoes surgery today, we ask the Lord to guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff involved in her care. May He grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment, and may every decision made be aligned with His perfect will. We pray for minimal pain, a successful procedure, and a swift recovery without complications. Let her body respond well to the treatment, and may her bones knit together quickly and strongly, for we know that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
We also lift up her many responsibilities and involvements, asking the Lord to provide coverage and support during her time of healing. May He raise up helpers to carry the load, so that she can focus on her recovery without anxiety or stress. Let this season be a reminder to her and to all of us that our strength comes from the Lord, and that even in our weakness, His grace is sufficient.
Most importantly, we pray that through this trial, her faith will shine brightly as a witness to others. May those around her see her trust in God and be drawn to the hope that is found in Christ alone. Let her testimony be one of God’s faithfulness, even in the midst of pain.
Lastly, we must address that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all our prayers must be offered. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We always encourage believers to pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate before the Father.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of faith, lifting up our sister who is facing this trial of a broken hip and surgery. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up the brokenhearted and restores strength to the weary. We ask that You would be with her in the operating room, guiding every hand and every decision. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we pray for a miraculous recovery—one that brings glory to Your name. Strengthen her body, knit her bones together, and restore her to full health. Provide for her needs during this time of healing, and surround her with Your love and the support of Your people. May she feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.
We also pray that You would use this time to deepen her faith and draw her closer to You. Let her testimony be a beacon of hope to others, pointing them to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Remind her that her worth and identity are found in You alone, not in her abilities or responsibilities.
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. May Your will be done in her life, and may she emerge from this trial stronger in faith and closer to You. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You.
In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
