Prayer for ### w Pneumonia

Hi everyone. I please ask that you say a prayer for healing for my ###'s lungs and health. She got pneumonia in both of her lungs, and has been down a couple weeks. She also has Crohn’s Disease which makes the recovery time even harder. This time is very difficult for her as she can’t work, and feels awful. I please ask that you pray for healing over her body and lungs. Her name is ###. Thank you so much and God Bless.

We join you in lifting up your loved one before the throne of grace and we are grateful you have asked us to pray with you for her healing. We can hear how difficult this time has been for her, suffering with pneumonia in both lungs while also battling Crohn's Disease, unable to work and feeling awful for weeks. Our hearts go out to her and to you as you carry this burden with her, and we bring her before our compassionate Father together.

We are reminded in Scripture that our God is the healer of our bodies and the comforter of our souls. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We cling to the promise in Isaiah 41:10 which says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Even when recovery feels slow and her body feels weak, He is with her, He sees her suffering, and He is able to restore and strengthen her.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed in your request. You asked for prayer and closed with God Bless, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because Scripture teaches us that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We can come boldly to God in prayer only because of what Jesus did for us on the cross, dying for our sins and rising again. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you and your loved one have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus alone for salvation and for daily access to the Father's mercy and healing.

We pray together now for her.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this precious woman to You. You know her by name, You formed her lungs and her body, and You see her struggle with pneumonia in both lungs and the added burden of Crohn's Disease. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon her. We ask You to clear the infection from her lungs, to restore her breathing, to reduce inflammation, to strengthen her immune system, and to bring complete recovery to her body. We pray for wisdom for her doctors and caregivers, that You would guide every treatment and medication. We ask You to ease her pain and fatigue, to give her restful sleep, and to lift the discouragement she feels from being unable to work. Provide for her needs according to Your riches, and remind her that You are her provider and sustainer. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Give her and her family peace that surpasses understanding as they wait on You, and strengthen her faith to trust in Your goodness even in this hard season. We pray that through this trial she would feel Your nearness and know that You are Yahweh who heals her, as Exodus 15:26 declares. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, believing that James 5:15 is true, that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand with her in prayer, to help her get proper medical care and rest, and to speak Scripture over her daily. We are trusting with you for the Lord to restore her health and to bring her back to strength in His perfect timing.

We were so burdened to read about ### and what she is walking through. Pneumonia in both lungs is so draining on its own, and with Crohn's making recovery slower, we can understand why these past couple weeks have felt especially heavy, and why not being able to work adds another layer of worry when she already feels awful.

When illness lingers it can wear down more than the body. It is common to feel fragile, discouraged, or even isolated from normal life and community, and we want her to know she is not forgotten in this long stretch. Your care in bringing her name before others for prayer matters deeply to her.

Alongside prayer, we encourage you to keep close contact with her medical team and to help her get rest and follow their guidance as she heals. If you are nearby, practical help like meals, errands, or simply sitting with her for a short visit can lift some of the burden, and gentle check-ins can help her stay connected when she cannot get out.

Father, we lift ### to You in Jesus name. You see her lungs, her pain, and her weariness. We ask for Your healing hand upon her body, for wisdom for those caring for her, and for Your comfort and strength for each day of recovery. Give her peace and remind her she is held by You. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. Your request for ### has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace in this time of great trial. To see one so dear laid low these weeks with pneumonia in both lungs, and to know that the affliction of Crohn's Disease makes the path of recovery harder still, and that she cannot work and feels awful in body and spirit, is a burden which rightly drives us to the Lord who is our Physician.

We take comfort in the truth that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and we have learned that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue. See Him as the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, and as the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings.

Our Lord is no stranger to suffering. He Himself has suffered being tempted, and was made perfect through sufferings, not in character for He was always perfect, but officially perfect as the Captain of our salvation. He knows what it is to suffer in the body and in the soul, and therefore He is able to sympathize with those who suffer now. He obtained that tender temper through suffering, that He might cheer those that are afflicted, and He will not despise the cry of His child in sickness.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon ###. Thou seest her lungs laboring under this pneumonia and her body weakened by long illness and by Crohn's Disease. Lay Thy healing hand upon her. We pray that Thou wouldst cleanse and restore her lungs, ease her breathing, renew her strength, and grant wisdom to those who care for her. Comfort her heart when she is cast down and weary, and remind her that when Thou comest and dwellest with Thy people, healing and pardon are found together in Christ. Provide for her needs in this season when she cannot work, and let her feel Thy presence as very near. We ask this not because we deserve it, but because Thy Son bore our sicknesses and by His scourging we receive healing. Work in her that health which Thy grace infuses, according to Thy perfect will, and let this trial draw her yet nearer to the Saviour who suffered for her.

We will continue to bear her up before the Lord, trusting that whether He grants speedy recovery or sustaining grace through a longer healing, He does all things well and His love faileth not. May the Lord bless you for your faithful love toward her, and keep you both in His tender care. Amen.

We bring her lungs before the Great Physician who heals and restores the body. We ask God in His mercy to clear the infection from both lungs, to ease her breathing, to give strength to her body as she fights pneumonia, and to be gracious to her in her weakness with Crohn's disease which makes this recovery so much harder. We pray that He would grant wisdom to those caring for her, provide rest and comfort in these weeks when she cannot work and feels so unwell, and lift the discouragement and weariness she feels.

We know this time of prolonged sickness is heavy to bear. Scripture teaches us that suffering is not wasted when it is endured with patience and trust in Christ, and that God in His love often uses such trials to deepen our humility and hope, while also showing His power to heal and comfort. As you wait, ask Him for a long suffering and patient heart for her, a soul that is not easily shaken, and a steady trust that He is present with her in this affliction. He who suffered for us understands our weakness and is able to make even this season work for good and for His glory.

So we pray, Father, have compassion on ###. Touch her lungs and bring complete healing, restore her health, renew her strength, and give her peace. Sustain her day by day, provide for her needs while she cannot work, and let her feel Your nearness and care. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and healer. Amen.
