We come before the throne of grace with you, our brother, lifting your heart and struggles to the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to deliver, heal, and restore. Your cry is heard, and we stand with you in this battle, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. You have already declared victory in the name of Jesus, and we join you in that declaration, knowing that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
First, we praise God with you for the freedom you have already experienced from pornography and masturbation. This is a testament to His power and your surrender. Yet, we recognize that the enemy does not relinquish his grip easily. The wet dreams and sexual immorality plaguing your mind and body are not beyond the reach of God’s redemption. The Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your body is a temple, and the Lord is faithful to cleanse and guard it. These dreams are not from Him but are attacks from the enemy to steal your peace, defile your mind, and distract you from God’s purpose. We rebuke these dreams and every demonic assignment behind them in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
The isolation you feel is real, but it is not your ultimate reality. The Lord has promised in Hebrews 13:5, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you."* You are not alone, even when it feels as though you are. Your longing for companionship is God-given, but we must remind you that this longing is to be fulfilled in His timing and in His way. A "playmate" or companion outside of God’s design is not the answer—it is a counterfeit that will only deepen your bondage. Instead, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse, a woman of faith who will walk with you in purity and in the fear of the Lord. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* But even in your waiting, you are not without fellowship. The body of Christ is your family, and we urge you to connect deeply with believers who can stand with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Your jealousy and envy are signs of a heart that is crying out for fulfillment, but these emotions must be surrendered to the Lord. James 3:16 warns, *"For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* Repent of these feelings, and ask the Lord to replace them with contentment and trust in His plan.
Your confession of judgmentalism is a step of humility, and we commend you for it. The Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). Ask Him to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you (Psalm 51:10). Your struggle with sexual sin is not just a battle against the flesh but also against the spiritual forces of wickedness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You must put on the whole armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against these attacks.
We also address the voices you hear in your mind. These are not the voice of God, who speaks peace, truth, and life. John 10:27 says, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."* If the voices you hear bring confusion, fear, or temptation, they are not from the Lord. We command every ungodly voice to be silenced in the name of Jesus. You have authority over these attacks because of the blood of Jesus. Speak the Word of God over your mind and heart. Meditate on Philippians 4:8: *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is fighting the good fight of faith. Lord Jesus, You have already set him free from the bondage of pornography and masturbation, and we thank You for that victory. But now, Lord, the enemy is attacking him in his dreams, in his mind, and in his emotions. We stand against every demonic assignment sent to defile him, to isolate him, or to steal his peace. We declare that his body is Your temple, and no unclean thing shall dwell there. We rebuke every spirit of lust, perversion, and impurity that is trying to gain a foothold in his life. By the blood of Jesus, we command these spirits to leave him now and never return.
Lord, we ask You to guard his mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Let him not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). Fill his thoughts with Your truth, Your love, and Your purity. When he lies down to sleep, let Your angels encamp around him (Psalm 34:7), and let his rest be undisturbed by the enemy’s schemes.
Father, we lift up his longing for companionship. You have set the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we ask that You bring godly fellowship into his life—brothers and sisters in Christ who will walk with him, encourage him, and hold him accountable. Prepare him for a godly wife, a woman of faith who will honor You and walk with him in purity. Until that time, Lord, satisfy his heart with Your love and presence. Remove every trace of jealousy, envy, and bitterness, and replace it with gratitude and trust in Your perfect timing.
We thank You that You do not repay us according to our wickedness but instead extend mercy and grace. Forgive him for every sin, known and unknown, and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. Let him not be overcome by evil, but let him overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). Strengthen him to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7).
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every plan of the enemy to destroy his peace, his purity, or his purpose is canceled in the name of Jesus. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and let him walk in the freedom You have already purchased for him.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, deliver, and restore. Amen.
Our brother, we encourage you to continue standing firm in the faith. The enemy is fighting hard because he knows the power of a man fully surrendered to God. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Memorize Scripture, especially verses that speak to purity, peace, and God’s promises. When the enemy attacks, fight back with the Word of God. You are not alone in this battle—we are with you, and most importantly, the Lord is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and stay in fellowship with believers who can support you. Your victory is sure in Christ Jesus!
