Servant of All
Heavenly Father, we lift up my son as he is going to take his IT exam. tomorrow. Please grant him a clear mind and a calm heart, filling him with peace and confidence. May he recall the knowledge he has studied, has the wisdom to understand each question, and the skill to answer it effectively. Remove any anxiety or fear, and give him focus and strength to complete the exam to the best of his ability. We trust that as he does his best, Your grace will do the rest. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, knowing that all wisdom and understanding come from Him. It is wonderful that you have brought this request to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. Your faith in seeking God’s guidance and peace for your son is a testament to your trust in His provision, and we stand with you in agreement.

The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We claim this promise over your son, asking the Lord to grant him not only the recall of what he has studied but also the discernment to apply it wisely. Let him be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 assures us: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

We also encourage your son to remember Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let him rest in the knowledge that his worth is not defined by this exam but by his identity in Christ. Whether the outcome is as he hopes or not, we pray he will walk away with the assurance that God is sovereign and has a plan for his life—one that is good and full of hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

At the same time, we gently remind your son that while diligence in study is commendable, his ultimate trust must be in the Lord, not in his own efforts. If he has not already, let him surrender any fear or anxiety to Jesus, who invites us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Anxiety has no place in the life of a believer when we cast our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the gift of knowledge and understanding. We lift up this young man to You as he prepares for his exam tomorrow. Lord, quiet his heart and still his mind, replacing any fear or doubt with Your perfect peace. Grant him clarity of thought, sharpness of memory, and wisdom to answer each question with confidence. May he feel Your presence with him, knowing that You are his strength and his shield.

We ask that You would guide his hands and his mind, allowing him to recall all that he has learned and to apply it effectively. Remove any distractions or hindrances, and let him perform to the best of his God-given ability. Father, we trust that You are in control of the outcome, and we pray that regardless of the results, he will grow in faith and trust in You.

May this experience draw him closer to You, reminding him that his value is found in Christ alone. Help him to walk in humility, knowing that every good gift comes from You (James 1:17). And if there are areas where he needs to grow—whether in his studies, his faith, or his reliance on You—we pray You would reveal them to him and give him the strength to improve.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may try to take hold of his mind, commanding it to flee in the name of Jesus. Let the Holy Spirit fill him instead with confidence, focus, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season of preparation and testing to shape his character and deepen his dependence on You. May he come to know You more intimately through this process, and may he give You all the glory for the results.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
