Dear Lord, My eyes are filled with tears, and my heart is broken; yet, it seems that my prayers might be seen as wrong or in the wrong way. I truly try, and I know you know this, as you truly know our hearts, I try to pray for your will and to trust what that means in my life....and go on to be patient (failing often), faithful (truly never questioning You), and try to serve you and my community (knowing that I can do and be more...and strive for this). But then, I guess I find myself wondering about telling you all of my hurts and brokenness and prayers for my relationship which is struggling and facing such hardship, and being unmarried still at this point, how to tell you those hurts and ask for what my heart knows and what I feel called by you to pray about. It seems that often the response from other Christians for the "unmarried" but truly desiring and working toward marriage is one of praying for your will....and surely, I believe and know this. Yet, for those married couples, who had to have faced trials prior to marriage, troubles and trials are met with prayer warriors offering prayers of protection and renewal and of course, your will, as well. I too pray for married couples in this way when troubles are present, and even when trials are not present. Yet, If I am not married, but completely committed and loyal and loving to one man (noting here that we are not in a physical or sexual relationship at this time, having experienced that in this relationship and stopped and asking now for God's forgiveness and healing and to be restored in marriage with one another) , both of us in this relationship KNOWING that marriage is the ONLY outcome for a relationship that endures and glorifies you, both of us desiring to have this relationship be complete through marriage and a marriage based on loving you and serving you FIRST, should I NOT pray for protection and restoration of trust and renewal through your love? But it seems that when I pray over or ask for help or prayer in any way for this relationship that, lacking a marriage vow at this point, I am only told to pray for your will in our lives. Dear Lord, I do KNOW and believe and even understand this, and I guess it is the ONLY thing I should say in prayer then---"Lord, I pray for your will in our lives to be clear and our trust in you to be strong," leaving out any prayers related to protection or renewal. However, when I look at or hear prayers for those couples that have made it to the place of marriage (assuming there were bumps and trials for them too), the prayers are still, of course, always for your will....but there seems to be a difference, a big difference. I am trying to understand; I am, and you know that I have prayed about this as well. Yet, I ask in prayer and with my whole heart focused on you and praying that this relationship be healed and restored, FIRST, to allow us to praise you TOGETHER, to live in your word, and to just be joyful and serve you together. This is something that I KNOW we both desire in our lives and in our hearts....to know and share Jesus with others, also helping others through OUR commitment and OUR trials and a healthy outcome and through OUR love for You. So, I ask for prayer for "S and P" not yet married, in fact, experiencing very rough waters, troubles, separation, disconnection, and confusion, but with so much love for one another, and first and at the top, a love for you, Lord....with this, I ask for prayer and protection over uz and for prayers to restore and renew this relationship. I ask that a "wall of fire" be present and that "no weapon formed against this relationship prosper" and that your love and protection that is so easily prayed for those already married be offered for those truly working toward marriage and toward a life focused on You. I pray this not in selfishness or bitterness toward anyone in any way, but You know this, but also for others reading this and choosing to pray for us or not, to know my heart in this. I pray this with tears in my eyes today, hurting, and praying to have this very special relationship that is experiencing trials and troubles right now be considered in prayer, for protection, restoration, reconciliation, and yes, first and foremost, in your will. I pray also that these words and prayer that I have just written and asked for are understood by others, married or unmarried, knowing we ALL have trials in getting to that place that God truly wants us to be, that we ALL need prayer and support in our relationships, married or unmarried, and that if the true heart of an unmarried couple is toward marriage and committing a life together rooted completely in a life glorifying God, that ANY AND ALL help and prayer and support is what He would want from each of us. I pray now for this, with my heart only asking for those who feel called to do so, to pray for my relationship to be HEALED and that we are reunited as a couple, and more and more each day that we grow stronger in our walk with the Lord and carry the Lord with uz in each and every moment of trials and joys....but, even more so, today and at this moment, I pray for and ask for prayers of protection and that any circumstance working against this relationship or creating any sort of barrier for reconciliation and healing now be removed from our path, and I pray that God forgive us our wrong choices and help us to forgive one another without hesitation. Finally, I pray and ask prayer over every unmarried couple working toward marriage and that may be experiencing trials and trying to find support and prayer in these times. God is rooting for us and wants the best for us! Just as married couples must make a choice to sustain a relationship, endure hard times, forgive and heal, and look to God for all their support, so should unmarried couples committed to one another and working toward that day in which a vow is taken in the presence of family, friends, and God. May he bless us all.

Dear Jesus, I am married, I have been married for twenty seven years and I have four children but who am I to judge a couple like this. Marriage I believe is a ceremony which legalizes the love YOU have created between two people. I stand by these two people before you Lord, bless them Dear Jesus bring them closer to each other and to you. I am noone to judge them and pray for them in some strange way because they are not married, yes it would be great that they were, but they are not, THEY ARE STILL YOUR LOVED CHILDREN MARRIED OR NOT. Dear Jesus I beg you touch both of them and heal all the wounds and scars that are in their hearts and souls, it is these that are keeping them apart and causing problems. Dear Lord allow them to forgive themselves for the sins that you have already forgiven them for. Dear Jesus, it is their love and their care for each other that matters, not their leal status. Bless them Lord for you see no differences it is man who sets these differences. Dear Jesus I beg you touch this coiuple and cover them with your blood, I am surte that if they sit quietly together and call to you for help, you will send your holy spirit to them and they will be filled with his fire and glory. Bless them Lord and keep them together. Thank you Jesus in you we trust.

Hi

This is parveen.I have prayed for you ILKYADEVI.I was going through this at a glance suddenly i saw yours and i felt like praying for you so i did.our heavenly father loves us so much he will never betray us he shall grant you all the desires of heart!!! May god bless you abundantly. We shall praise lord for all the good deeds that he has done for us

Thank you both for your kindness and for your prayers for this relationship. How amazing it is to feel and know God's love through other Christians who do not judge, but also serve to strengthen and enlighten me/others to God.

Today, I am struggling with a battle of reaching out to the man I love to just share a loving thought or send him something by email which might be nice and a good step or to just stay quiet and not make any contact in order to wait for his heart to reach out to mine. I am praying today that God guide my steps (and his) in this. I am very lonely and heartbroken today, and I just simply wanted/needed to have some connection from him. I have asked God to hold me today, to just wrap me up in his care, especially while this relationship is suffering through such difficulty. I also pray that He take care of the man that I hold so deeply in my heart and that He take care of this love He created between us. Today, I pray to hear from "P"...to know in any way that his heart is bound to mine always. Today, I pray, Lord, that you wrap my heart around "P's" heart and his around mine, both blanketed by your love, your care, your protection, your grace, your forgiveness, and your strength to guide us through and back to one another. I pray this in your name, Jesus, and I thank you for those prayers on our behalf. Amen!

I know what u r going thru. I am also unmarried & am being faced with obstacles in my relationship. I am also heartbroken & in tears today as I am everyday. I am expecting his child & know that in the eyes of the Lord, what Ive done is a sin. But we did have plans on getting married only now that things havent been going so well we put those plans on hold. I also have been in prayer about my relationship for a long time. We are on the same boat right now, only my bf doesnt know the Lord as I do. I want him to have the desire to look for God & be saved but up to this point he still has the desire to do things that I do not agree with. He has many addictions & cant seem to let go of them. Please pray for me P & for him M, I will do the same for u.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that u restore this relationship as I ask for restoration of mine everyday. Hear our prayers. As it says in Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And everyone who knocks will have the door opened." I come to you Lord ASKING for restoration of our relationships. Heal the relationships of all the people on here asking you for help. Father we know that alone we are nothing without you, that is why we ask that you heal our relationships and remove the barriers and obstacles that are keeping us apart from the ones we love. I come into agreement with this womens prayer! Just as it says in Matthew 18:19,20 "Also, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about something and pray about it, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. This is true because if two or three people come together in my name, I am there with them."

So I come into agreement with her prayers for her relationship to berestored and to be everything she hopes for. Thank you Lord, for all your promises. Let us believe and have faith in you. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen!

I will pray for you both, P and M. I thank you for caring and for taking the time to read my prayer and pray WITH ME. I was and am touched by your prayer "partnering," and I will join you in the SAME prayer....believing that shared prayer is the most powerful.

So, first, let's keep praying this TOGETHER, this evening, tonight, tomorrow, your prayer written in the last post, pray with me for now and as long as we need to:

Lord, I would like to add for this woman/sister, that those barriers and hurts that are present tonight and that have been present for some time in her relatioship to be eased, that the child she is carrying be protected, and that you begin to work a miracle for her and this baby and the baby's father. I ask this in your name, Amen.

I will most deffinitley stand in agreement with you in prayer. Praying tonight, tomorrow, and like you said for as long we need to. I thank you for partnering up with me in this. I feel some sort of comfort knowing that there is someone out there standing in agreement in prayer with me. May the Lord Bless both of our relationships and restore them and remove any and all barriers that are keeping us from our loved ones.

I want to recommend you a movie called Fireproof, it truly touches you. It follows one mans desire to transform his life & his marriage thru the healing power of faith. Although niether of us are married it is a true eye opener & it really touched me. There is also a book called "The Love Dare", which was taken from the movie Fireproof. The Love Dare is a 40 day challenge for husbands & wives to understand & practice UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Each day there is a love dare based on the Bible that u must complete. Its a wonderful book. Again we are not married but the book may be practiced by both married and unmarried couples. You can find both at Walmart ,Target or Meijer for pretty cheap.

Well i look forward to hearing good news from you soon. Lets expect the Lord to do a miracle & restore both of our relationships! God Bless You!

By the way, message me whenever you'd like I'm a good listener :)
