Prayer for ### to have compassion heart toward their ###

Disciple of Prayer
Pray for an unreasonable landlord that doesn't see the circumstances of other tenants that are unable to pay rent. Every year the rent goes high. And this building that tenants live in is unregulated; it's not like the regulated building that benefits programs. I had until October 1st, 2025, to pay the new rent. I have not done that; I have paid my old rent instead. I understand that this landlord will take me to court for not signing the new lease agreement rent. This is the 1st time I am facing this. I am not alone; there are a few tenants where I live that are unable to pay the rent. I ask God Almighty to reverse the higher rent to no rent increase. I live in ###. Thank you and God bless you all.

We understand the heavy burden you carry in this difficult situation, and we lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, provision, and compassion. The Bible reminds us in **Proverbs 22:22-23 (WEB)**, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder those who plunder them."* Your landlord’s actions may seem unjust, but we serve a God who sees the hearts of all people and defends the oppressed. While we pray for this landlord’s heart to be softened, we also ask the Lord to provide wisdom, protection, and a miraculous solution for you and the other tenants facing this hardship.

It is important to acknowledge that while we pray for God’s intervention, we must also act wisely and seek His guidance in how to navigate this situation. **James 2:14-17 (WEB)** tells us, *"What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him? And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food, and one of you tells them, ‘Go in peace. Be warmed and filled;’ and yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself."* This does not mean we lack faith in praying for a miracle, but we must also take practical steps—seeking counsel, exploring legal aid, or connecting with local resources that assist tenants in unregulated housing situations. The Lord often works through both prayer *and* the wise actions of His people.

We also notice that your prayer was directed to "God Almighty" without invoking the name of Jesus Christ. While God is indeed Almighty, the Bible teaches us that our access to the Father is *only* through Jesus, our Mediator. **John 14:6 (WEB)** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by the authority of Jesus’ name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and provision, for He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father (Romans 8:34).

Now, let us pray together for you and this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this overwhelming challenge with their landlord. Lord, You are a God who sees the affliction of Your people (Exodus 3:7), and You have promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that You soften the heart of this landlord, granting them a spirit of compassion and fairness. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit to act justly and mercifully toward these tenants, who are struggling under the weight of these unreasonable demands. Lord, we pray for a supernatural reversal—whether through a change of heart, legal intervention, or divine provision—so that the rent increase would be nullified, and our brother/sister would be able to remain in their home without fear.

We also ask for Your wisdom to guide them in taking the right steps, whether that means seeking counsel, exploring legal protections, or finding alternative housing if necessary. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are their Provider, Jehovah-Jireh.

For those who do not yet know You, Lord, we pray that this trial would draw them to You. May they see Your hand at work and turn to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. And for our brother/sister, we pray that their faith would be strengthened through this storm, knowing that You are refining them and teaching them to trust in You alone.

We rebuke the spirit of greed and oppression in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You, Lord, are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). We thank You in advance for Your faithfulness and for the testimony of Your provision that will come from this situation. May all the glory, honor, and praise be unto You, Father, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word. **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see the way forward. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will guide you through this valley.

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)** says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* There is no greater security than knowing you are a child of God, and no greater peace than resting in His promises. If you would like to know more about salvation or need further prayer, please let us know—we are here to stand with you in faith.

May the Lord bless you, keep you, and shine His face upon you as you walk through this trial. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting this heavy burden before the Lord alongside you. The past few days, we have continued to pray with urgency for God’s supernatural intervention in this situation—for His hand to move mightily upon your landlord’s heart, softening it with compassion and wisdom to see the real struggles of those under their care. We’ve asked the Lord to open their eyes to the weight of these financial pressures and to provide a way where there seems to be no way, whether through a change of heart, unexpected provision, or a divine reversal of these circumstances.

We know this is not just a matter of finances but a deep spiritual battle, and we stand firm in the truth that our God is a God of justice, mercy, and miracles. We’ve prayed specifically for you and the other tenants facing this hardship, asking the Lord to shield you from legal trouble, to grant you favor in the eyes of those in authority, and to make a way for you to remain in your home without the crushing weight of this increase. His Word promises that He is a refuge and strength for His people, and we cling to that promise on your behalf.

If the Lord has already begun to answer this prayer—whether through a shift in your landlord’s stance, a financial breakthrough, or even a new path forward—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. There is nothing more encouraging than seeing how God moves in response to the prayers of His people. But if this battle is still raging and the answer hasn’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you in faith, believing that God is not done writing this story. His timing is perfect, and His solutions are beyond what we can imagine.

In the meantime, we encourage you to hold fast to His promises, to seek His peace that surpasses understanding, and to trust that He sees your need—down to the very date on that lease agreement. He is not indifferent to your struggle, and He is faithful to provide. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who is your advocate and your provider.

We are praying for you still. May the Lord surround you with His presence, fill you with His supernatural peace, and move in this situation in a way that leaves no doubt it was His hand at work. In Jesus’ name.
