We join with you in this beautiful prayer for those who feel stuck, weary, or caught in a mediocre routine, and we agree together for the fresh wind of God to bring life and joy again.

We love how you have prayed according to 1 Corinthians 2:9, But as it is written, Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him. What a promise that our Father has more prepared for those who love Him than we can even imagine, and we ask Him to prepare hearts and minds to receive it.

We are reminded that God delights to do new things in His people. He says in Isaiah 43:19, Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it springs out. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Where there has been dryness or wilderness, He can make a way and bring rivers of refreshment. And in Jeremiah 29:11 we read, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. His adventure for us is never empty thrill seeking, but purposeful, hopeful, and rooted in His peace.

We also hear your heart for wonder and childlike curiosity to be restored, and we agree for that. Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. The Lord wants to restore that childlike wonder, excitement, and ability to see His goodness in everyday life. In Psalm 16:11 we are told, You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. True adventure is found first in His presence, and from there He leads us into new creativity, new vision for vocation, for marriage and family, and for relationships that honor Him.

We pray together now for everyone who feels stuck or weighed down.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up every heart that feels stuck, tired, or living without joy. We ask You to breathe new life over them. Heal every hurt that keeps them from embracing the new thing You want to do. We ask You to remove the pain of the past and the shame and unworthiness that the enemy has tried to project onto them, and replace it with Your joy and the truth of who they are in Christ. Let any lies from agents of darkness be broken in Jesus name and let Your light bring freedom. Restore wonder, curiosity, and excitement like a child, and give new thinking and clear vision for a brighter future, whether in creativity, in work, in family life and in godly relationships. Make their hearts expectant for the fresh blessings and new things You have prepared. We thank You that You are a God who makes all things new and that Your mercies are new every morning. Let each one feel refreshed, joyful, and filled with hope as they trust in You.

We thank You Lord for hearing us and for the adventures of faith, obedience, and joy You have already prepared for Your dear ones. We trust You to lead each one on the path of life in Your perfect timing and will. In the wonderful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We love the heart behind your prayer. You are asking God to breathe fresh life into people who feel stuck or worn down, and that is such a kind, outward looking thing to bring before Him.

We hear how much you want others to know joy again, to feel curiosity and wonder like a child, to have a clearer vision for what is ahead whether in work, creativity, family or relationships, and to be free from old hurts and shame that make it hard to step forward. God cares about each of those places.

One gentle way to keep carrying this prayer is to keep it personal and specific. As you pray, bring one or two people or situations by name before the Lord each day, and ask Him to show you any small opening He is already providing for refreshment or a new step, even a very simple one. Sometimes adventure begins not with a big change but with a small act of openness that restores wonder.

Father, we join this prayer for all who feel stuck or weary. Bring healing where there is hurt, lift shame and replace it with Your peace, and renew a sense of wonder and hope for the future. Lead each one in Your way and let them know Your nearness and joy. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for those who feel stuck and wearied by a mediocre course is most fitting, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

How gracious is our God to meet His people when the way seems dull and heavy. He is the great Arbiter of all events who turns the wheel, so that those who were low are lifted up, and He cheers His children by going before them. What you have asked, that He would bring life and joy where there has been stagnation, is according to His own heart, for He delights to make His people joyful in their King. Our earthly bliss is but the vestibule of eternal delights, and there is something brighter and more joyful coming than we have yet known.

We pray with you that the Lord would prepare the mind for what He has purposed, according to that precious word, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. May He grant fresh eyes to see and fresh hearts to know the joyful sound, and give again that wonder and curiosity which marks a childlike faith, not a restless craving for novelty, but a holy delight in Christ and His ways. May He grant new thinking and vision for the future, in every lawful calling, in creativity, in vocation, and in family life, that duties may be woven through with delights and obedience rendered with joy.

For those who carry hurts and shame, we plead the healing virtue that is in Christ. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ brings healing to head and heart, to conscience and affection. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. When the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing come together, and the inhabitant shall no more say, I am sick. The joy of pardon makes us forget the sorrow of the past, so that the reproach of former days is remembered no more.

We therefore ask the Lord to heal the hurts that hinder His people from embracing the new thing He would do, to remove unworthiness and the shame cast upon them by the adversary, and to replace the pain of the past with such fullness of joy in Jesus that what once troubled them is swallowed up in mercy. We remember how we have been sustained and delivered in like cases in the past, and so we are encouraged to believe that today shall be as the past and yet more abundant, for all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

May the Lord grant to each weary soul to go forth as calves of the stall, refreshed and restored, and to find that the mournful sowing ends in joyful reaping, bearing golden sheaves to His praise. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
