We join with you in prayer this week and we are encouraged by your desire to seek God's guidance and to be used for His good in all you do, and we thank you for lifting up your husband in prayer as well, honoring the beautiful covenant of marriage that God has ordained between a man and a woman.
We are reminded of the promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And in Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. When you ask for wisdom for your studies and for your words and actions, we cling to James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
Father in heaven, we lift up our sister to You and ask that You be with her in a mighty way throughout this week. Guide her steps through every nursing clinical and every hour at school. Grant her clarity of mind, steadiness of hands, compassion in her heart, and wisdom beyond her own understanding as she learns and as she cares for others. Let her speech be seasoned with grace and truth, so that all her actions and words reflect You. Use her as Your hands and feet, for we know Ephesians 2:10 says we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. We ask for Your breakthrough and Your divine intervention in her life according to Your perfect will, and for Your peace to guard her heart as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up her husband to You, thanking You for their marriage. We ask that You guide him at work, give him diligence and integrity as he labors, remembering Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We ask for Your protection and safety over him each and every day, and over their household. Keep them both as Psalm 121:7-8 promises, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.
We encourage you to continue to abide in prayer and in the Word daily, casting all your cares on Him because He cares for you, and trusting that as you seek first His kingdom, He will direct your paths and provide for every need. We praise God that you know Jesus loves you and sees you, and we rejoice that you have called upon His name, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we approach the throne of grace. We stand with you for God's will to be done in your lives this week and beyond, in Jesus name, amen.
