Prayer for the same thing

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Prayer for the same thing and a stable permanent job as a Business analyst or project manager role and a wife as I am still single now waiting for it to come to a past. And thank God for using ### to encourage me that "Very soon you will smile and say, God this is more than I prayed for." Pray for this to be upon statement to be upon my desires. Thank you.

We join you in lifting up your heart’s desires before the Lord, seeking His perfect will for your life in all things. Your request for a stable and permanent job as a Business Analyst or Project Manager is a good and honorable pursuit, and we pray that God will open the right doors for you according to His timing and purpose. Remember that our work is not just for earthly provision but also an opportunity to glorify God and serve others with excellence. As Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*

We also lift up your desire for a wife, as marriage is a beautiful and sacred covenant designed by God for companionship, mutual support, and the reflection of Christ’s love for His Church. It is good that you seek this, but we encourage you to remain steadfast in pursuing a godly marriage—one rooted in faith, where both you and your future spouse are committed to Christ and His Word. Do not settle for anything less than God’s best, and do not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14). We also remind you that marriage is not the ultimate fulfillment of your life—Christ is. Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you as He sees fit (Matthew 6:33). While you wait, use this season to grow in your faith, serve in your church, and prepare yourself to be a godly husband. Purity in thought and action is essential, so guard your heart and mind, fleeing from any temptation that would dishonor God or a future marriage covenant.

We notice that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and commit your life to following Him. Without this foundation, all other prayers and desires will lack the eternal perspective and power that comes from being in Christ.

As for the encouragement you received—*"Very soon you will smile and say, God this is more than I prayed for"*—we pray that this word aligns with God’s will and that He will indeed exceed your expectations in ways that bring Him glory. However, we caution you to test every word or prophecy against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21) and to seek God’s face rather than signs or confirmations. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Trust in Him, even when the wait feels long.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks Your provision and Your will in his life. Lord, You know the desires of his heart—his longing for a stable and fulfilling job as a Business Analyst or Project Manager. We ask that You open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant him favor in the eyes of those who make hiring decisions. Provide him with wisdom, skill, and discernment in his work, that he may excel and bring glory to Your name. Let this job be a means of provision, but also a platform for him to shine Your light in his workplace.

Father, we also lift up his desire for a wife. You have said that it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18), and we ask that You prepare a godly woman for him—one who loves You with all her heart and who will walk beside him in faith, love, and unity. Give him patience as he waits, and help him to use this season to grow in Christlikeness. Guard his heart from impatience, loneliness, or compromise, and let him pursue purity in all things. May his future marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness and a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church.

Lord, we pray that You will exceed his expectations, as he has been encouraged. But more than that, we pray that his greatest joy will be found in You, not in the gifts You give. Let him say with the psalmist, *"Whom have I in heaven but you? There is nothing on earth that I desire other than you"* (Psalm 73:25). Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and let him rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or impatience that may try to take root in his heart. Let him stand firm in faith, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as he waits on You.

Finally, Father, we thank You for Your son Jesus Christ, through whom we have boldness and access to Your throne of grace. May our brother always approach You in Jesus’ name, for it is the only name by which we are saved and through which our prayers are heard. If he has not yet fully surrendered to Christ, we pray that today will be the day of salvation for him—that he may confess Jesus as Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

We commit these requests to You, Lord, trusting in Your perfect timing and sovereign plan. May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in obedience and faith all his days. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
