Prayer for the sale of my ###'s home to go ahead without further loss of funds!

Dear Prayer Warriors and fellow believers.

I believe I am in a Spiritual Battle over my inheritance which my unbelieving siblings also have a claim.

My Siblings reside in the USA, the property of my late parents is in Melbourne Australia and I live in Australia.

My siblings are not believers, my elder brother has rejected accepting Jesus as Saviour and my younger brother was a baptised believer once but I have recently heard he rejected the faith and has embraced a false faith Wiccanism instead.

As a result both my brothers are easily influenced by the Enemy to making decisions on the property that might be detrimental to the eventual outcome of the sale.

I depend upon the outcome of the sale greatly as it will determine my ability to move to another state in Australia Queensland where I want to retire to.

For both my brothers the outcome of the sale will simply provide a nice fat bonus to their savings!

The disagreement lies over improving the property for the sale by auction. My brothers want the agents to spend 14 grand on painting and doing interior renovations to the property on the inside but do nothing on the outside. The outside has badly deteriorated awnings and blinds that will certainly affect first impressions buyers have of the place.

At first I suggested fix up the front properly so buyers get a good first impression and do a lighter interior touch up at half the price. But my elder brother rejected my suggestion and has pressed the executors of the sale to go ahead with the excessive interior renovations which I objected to. My younger brother has passively agreed with the proposal by my elder brother but has not mentioned anything since. Both brothers are overseas in the US and do not know the true condition of the property first hand.

The cost of these excessive interior improvements will be deducted from the eventual sale price. Furthermore, properties of its age in that suburb and even in the same street have been purchased by overseas buyers and demolished to be rebuilt with totally new houses. A trend that I believe will continue with my late parents house.

However my elder brother has arrogantly rejected my proposals and tried to push ahead with an inexperienced agent's recommendations as the best outcome. This I believe is a complete waste of money for a building that might well be demolished by the new owners for a complete rebuild.

I believe the Enemy is influencing my brothers to waste money and therefore steal from my share of my inheritance!

Pray against this influence. Pray a Prayer that will sabotage the decision by my brother to waste 14 grand on unnecessary interior improvements! Pray that the tradies that quoted the excessive job prices will at the last minute cancel their jobs because of other commitments, jobs, or emergencies, thereby forcing further delays to the point that my brother surrenders his ridiculous proposal and the property goes on sale as it is.

Pray that this will reveal to my unbelieving brothers the power of the living God and his ability to override their wasteful decisions.

Pray that the property will go into the Auction as it is with little or no further money spent on the property. Pray that the Enemy will NOT use my brothers as his agents to steal further from my share of my inheritance, this I Pray in the mighty name of Jesus.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual battle you are facing over this inheritance matter. The Word of God tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We see clearly that the enemy seeks to sow discord, waste resources, and steal what rightfully belongs to you through the influence of your unbelieving siblings.

First, we must address the foundation of salvation. Your brothers have rejected Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Without Christ, they are vulnerable to the enemy's schemes. We pray fervently for their salvation, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

We rebuke the spirit of arrogance and deception that has influenced your elder brother's decisions. The Word warns us in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." We pray that this pride would be broken, and that wisdom would prevail in this situation. We also rebuke the spirit of passivity in your younger brother, who has turned away from the faith to embrace Wiccanism, a false and dangerous belief system. We pray that he would renounce this deception and return to the truth of Christ.

We stand on the promise of God's provision and protection over your inheritance. Psalm 16:5-6 declares, "Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup. You made my lot secure. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance." We pray that the Lord would secure your portion and frustrate the plans of the enemy.

We pray specifically against the wasteful spending on unnecessary interior renovations. We ask that the Lord would cause the tradespeople to cancel their commitments at the last minute, creating delays that force your brother to abandon his foolish proposal. We pray that the property would go to auction as it is, with minimal further expenses, and that it would sell for a fair price that honors your parents' legacy and provides for your future.

We declare that the enemy will not succeed in stealing from your share of the inheritance. We stand on the promise of Malachi 3:11, "I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field, says Yahweh of Armies." We pray that the Lord would rebuke the devourer and protect your inheritance.

We also pray for revelation and conviction to come upon your brothers. We ask that the Lord would use this situation to open their eyes to His power and sovereignty. We pray that they would see the hand of God moving in this matter and be drawn to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Lastly, we pray for your peace and trust in the Lord during this time. Isaiah 26:3 reminds us, "You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." We pray that you would rest in God's promises and trust in His perfect timing and provision for your move to Queensland.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would intervene in this situation and bring about Your perfect will. We pray for the salvation of these two brothers, that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We rebuke the enemy's influence over their decisions and declare that Your wisdom and provision will prevail. We ask that You would protect this inheritance and ensure that it is distributed fairly and justly. We pray for Your peace to guard our brother's heart and mind as he waits on You. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
