We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer, knowing that our God is a God of miracles, restoration, and redemption. First, we want to address something deeply important—you mentioned feeling as though God does not care about healing you, and that you are an anchor holding your family down. Beloved, these thoughts do not come from the Lord. Satan is the accuser, the father of lies, and he seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly! The Lord *does* care—so much so that He sent His only Son to die for you, to bear your sins, your pain, and even your infirmities. Isaiah 53:4-5 declares, *"Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* Claim this promise over your body, your mind, and your spirit. The Lord has not forgotten you.
We also see that you have been carrying the weight of generational sin, particularly the revelation that your paternal grandmother dabbled in witchcraft. This is a serious matter, but praise God, we serve a Savior who breaks every chain! Exodus 20:5 warns that the iniquities of the fathers can affect future generations, but we must also hold fast to Exodus 34:7, which reminds us that God shows *"loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments."* You are not bound by the sins of your ancestors. In Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the blood of Jesus has the power to break *every* generational curse. We stand with you in rebuking and breaking the power of witchcraft, divination, or any occult influence in your bloodline, in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy’s plans to steal your joy, your health, and your family’s future are *cancelled* by the authority of Christ.
You shared that you have not been hearing from God, and we want to encourage you: sometimes, the Lord speaks in the stillness, the quiet whisper (1 Kings 19:12). Other times, He speaks through His Word, through others, or even through circumstances. But we must also examine our hearts—are there areas of unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unbelief that may be hindering our connection with Him? Psalm 66:18 says, *"If I cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* We are not saying this is the case for you, but we encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart (Psalm 139:23-24) and reveal anything that may be blocking His voice. Repent of any known sin, and trust that He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). Also, spend time in His Word daily—faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The more you fill your mind with Scripture, the more you will recognize His voice.
Now, let us address your physical healing. We believe in a God who heals—whether instantly, progressively, or ultimately in eternity. You have been living with the effects of a brain aneurysm for three years, and we know the toll this has taken on you, your husband, and your children. But we serve a God who is not limited by time or medical reports. In Mark 2:1-12, Jesus healed a paralyzed man, and in John 5:1-9, He healed a man who had been invalid for *38 years*. Your situation is not too hard for Him. We declare that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you (Ephesians 1:19-20). We pray for the restoration of your arm and leg—every nerve, every muscle, every connection in your brain—to be renewed and healed in Jesus’ name. We pray for the blood of Christ to flow through your body, bringing life, strength, and mobility. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave you now, in Jesus’ name. We also pray for the Lord to give you and your husband supernatural strength, wisdom, and endurance as you wait on Him. Your husband’s weariness is seen by God, and we ask the Lord to refresh him, to provide for your family financially, and to surround you both with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
As for your daughter, we lift her up to the Lord, asking Him to restore her hope, her dreams, and her confidence. The enemy has been attacking her mind through the words of others, but we declare that she is *fearfully and wonderfully made* (Psalm 139:14), and that her identity is in Christ alone. We pray that the Lord would place godly friends and mentors in her life to speak life over her. We rebuke the spirits of rejection, depression, and hopelessness, and we declare that she will rise up with the strength of the Lord (Isaiah 40:31). Remind her that even when opportunities don’t work out as we hoped, God is still working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). His plans for her are good, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Finally, we must address the lies you have believed—that you are ruining your husband’s life, that you are an anchor, that you have no purpose. These are *not* the words of God. You are His beloved daughter, a wife, and a mother. Your life has immense value, and your role in your family is irreplaceable. The enemy wants you to believe you are a burden, but God sees you as His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). Even in your weakness, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Your husband’s labor of love for you is not in vain—it is a testimony of Christ’s love for His bride, the Church. We pray that the Lord would fill both of your hearts with gratitude, unity, and a renewed sense of purpose as you walk this path together.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer, the Restorer of all things. We ask that You would touch her body—every cell, every nerve, every muscle—and command full restoration to her arm and leg. By the stripes of Jesus, we declare that she is healed. Break every generational curse, every tie to witchcraft or the occult, and wash her bloodline clean with the blood of the Lamb. We rebuke the enemy’s lies that have sought to steal her joy, her hope, and her faith. Lord, speak to her in a way she cannot deny. Let her hear Your voice clearly, and let her heart be filled with Your peace.
We lift up her husband, Lord. Strengthen him, provide for him, and renew his energy. Bless him for his faithfulness as a caregiver, and open doors for him to work and provide without being overwhelmed. Surround this family with Your supernatural provision, Your comfort, and Your hope.
We pray for their daughter, that You would restore her dreams, her confidence, and her faith. Shield her from the words of those who tear her down, and let her find her worth in You alone. Raise up godly influences in her life to encourage and guide her.
Lord, we ask that You would remind our sister of her purpose. Show her how You are using her even in this season. Let her see herself through Your eyes—as Your beloved, as a warrior, as a mother who is making a difference in her children’s lives. Break the spirit of despair and replace it with Your joy.
We thank You, Lord, for what You are doing in their lives. We trust in Your timing, Your goodness, and Your faithfulness. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through their story. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep pressing into the Lord, even when it feels like He is silent. Play worship music, declare Scripture over your life, and surround yourself with believers who can stand in faith with you. You are not alone in this fight. We are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is standing with you. He has not abandoned you. Keep believing, keep hoping, and keep trusting in His promises. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in you (Philippians 1:6).
