Prayer For The Other Person

You know as I go to prayer lines and read the prayer request and facing my own situation, I feel that I want to pray for the "Other" people that get involved with our spouses. Sometimes these people are innocent people themselves, and get caught up in a relationship made up of nothing but lies. There are men that meet women and tell them they are in a terrible relationship, that they have nothing to do with the wives', that they are still home because of the children, etc... this person believes these lies and also falls in love... not knowing that this person is not going to leave the wife. There are men that use older women... they look for women and cry to them that they need money for this or that, and they give them attention and the women hungry for attention fall for their game... All these people are victims, just like us. The difference is that we know Christ and they do not. So let's pray for these people, that will hurt in the long run also. Lord, Jesus you know all of our situation, you know when lies are being told to gain something out of a person, I ask that you take the blindfold off their eyes to be able to see reality and see that they are just being used, and while they are being used you have a wife or husband hurting with this relationship. I believe that no weapon formed against will prosper and that the light will shine with Glory real soon for all those of us facing this situation.

Thank you for this post. I agree with you God is at work. And God says in his word that he will not be mocked. Some spouses are mocking him by doing this to their spouses who are faithfully serving God. I know God is moving and will continue to if we lay it all at his feet and focus on him and not what they may or may not be doing. God had a plan for all of us to be victorious who truly believe and do not waiver. Praise God Amen

I touch and agree with this prayer. I pray the same for the woman that my husband was/is involved with...may she see the truth and find a relationship with a man who is more appropriate for her---who will meet her needs and make her happy. AMEN

Father, I pray for all that find themselves in the sin of adultery. I pray that they will hear what Your word has to tell them, and their hearts be pierced with these words. Father, there is life and death in Your word, blessings and curses, I pray for them all that they would choose life, and blessings. Father, I pray that they would turn fully from their sin, and directly to You. It is their choice, life or death, and I pray that they would see the battle in their lives and make their choice for life. God I thank You for life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I thank you every day for the prayer and I stand in agreement with you all, ### says all the time "it's isn't her fault she only knows what I tell her". So yes there are more than just us being used and lied to, I asked ### one day what he is going to do when she starts to fall for him and he replied with a salute, "I will tell her sorry, I'm not in it for that, and walk!" The hardest thing I will ever have to do is forgive the woman who sleeps with my husband, but I know I have to and I am working on that, it is SOOOOO hard, pray that God give me the courage to do this, and not let this woman ever cross my mind again. And may God forgive her too, and remove her from the picture along with all the other people in the middle of these marriages, Lord they do not belong here, and Satan cannot have our spouses, Father they belong to you and then to us, be with us in our prayers and every waking moment of these situations and we look to you for restoration Father, keep us in the word, and by your side.

I too agree with what is being said however...the woman who slept with my husband knew he was married she had told other's she didn't care and that I could "boo hoo" because she stole my man! Yes my husband left me for her, yes he is more at fault he should have never walked in satan's world but this day and age thats what the enemy preys on the most..marriages...kill, steal and destroy!

I ask that God would take the pain away because it is hard to forgive someone who has taken something so precious from you. I know it's the enemy and I must forgive the other woman in order for God to forgive me, she is not worth spending an eternity in hell for.
