Prayer for the New Year

Father, we ask that you protect us this New Year. Have your will in our lives. Help us to set examples and go forth spreading your word unto the world. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that you Father hold my future. Help me to face whatever trials i may encounter. Thank you for the blessings you have bestowed to us. I pray for the President-elect Barack Obama. Father protect the new President and his staff. In your eyes Lord, we are all your children. I pray for our troops who are defending this great country. I pray for the sick, elderly, homeless, lonely, depressed, hungry persons in this world. Grant them peace. On this first day of the new year, I rededicate my life to you. I encourage everyone to do the same. Without you we are nothing. Bless each person who comes to this website with prayer request. I ask that you hear each and every request posted. Thank you for sending your only Son to the earth to die for my sins that i might be free. Forgive us of our sins. Glory to God for his love is everlasting, has no end. we have that promise for our Father. Father we know that your return is soon for we are now having birthing pains. I long to see the face of my precious Lord and Master. Happy new year to all. Look to God for all of your needs. He will provide. May God bless everyone.
