O Lord, make us an instrument of thy peace.

Where there is hatred...let us sow love.

Where there is injury...let us pardon.

Where there is doubt...let us have faith.

Where there is despair...let us have hope.

Where there is darkness...let us see the 'light'.

Where there is sadness...let us know joy.

O Lord, grant that we may not so much seek

to be consoled, but to console.

Not to be understood, but to understand.

Not so to be loved, but to love.

For it is in giving that we receive.

It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned.

Grant this O Lord...In Jesus name...let us pray this 'to be'. Amen.
