Thank you for your prayer request, and we join you in lifting up this New Day to Heavenly Father. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we can come to the Father.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ and their loved ones. We thank You for Your constant protection and healing in our lives. We pray that You would increase our faith, drawing us ever closer to You and to each other in Christ.
Lord, surround us with Your Holy Spirit, guiding our every step and delivering us from evil. We thank You for Your abundant blessings and forgiveness, made possible through the precious blood of Jesus Christ our Savior.
We do not forget that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We pray for Your full armor to cover us.
Father, we ask that You would help us to love one another fervently, for love covers a multitude of sins. As we draw closer to You, help us to draw closer to each other, being of one mind, having compassion one of another; being courteous, not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing each other, knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing.
Help this family to understand that You became the ultimate High Priest in the order of Melchizedek, as discussed in Hebrews 7:11:
Now if there were perfection through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Finally, we ask that You would fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Guide us to walk in a way that is worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthen us with all power, according to the might of your glory for all endurance and perseverance with joy. Please give us patience and longsuffering with one another, with bowels of mercies, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, even as Christ forgave us, be ye therefore followers of God, as beloved children.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your loved ones. Keep in mind the words of James 5:16:
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
We also encourage you to be a light to your loved ones, reflecting the love and goodness of Christ in your interactions with them. Let it be known that you are a Christian by the way you love and care for your family. We also remind you to pray for discernment and guidance in all your relationships, that you may honor God in all your interactions.
We will continue to keep you and your loved ones in our prayers, trusting that God will work mightily in your lives.
