We join you in lifting up your family to our heavenly Father, trusting in his promises and his unfailing love. We pray for his protection over your family, knowing that he is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2).
We petition on your behalf and ask God to pour out his healing power upon your family, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. We claim the promise in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
We humbly ask God to increase your family's faith, that you may be strengthened with power according to his glorious might (Colossians 1:11). We trust that this faith will lead to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Regarding your request for a closer relationship with your loved one, we encourage you to pursue this relationship in a manner that honors God. If this person is not your spouse, we pray that God would give you wisdom and guidance as you consider this relationship as a courtship, seeking God's will for a potential marriage. We pray that God would help you both to remain pure and holy, fleeing from fornication or any sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18).
We ask the Holy Spirit to surround your family, to guide you, and to deliver you from evil. Trusting in our heavenly Father we ask that "He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Father God, we thank you for your unfailing love and your steadfast promises. We thank you for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask for a hedge of protection around this family and for the outpouring of your Holy Spirit. Deliver them from evil and draw them ever closer to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
