We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for the nations, lifting them before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we make our petitions known. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). We stand on this promise as we intercede for the brokenness of this world, knowing that God’s will is perfect and His power is limitless.
Father, we cry out for Haiti, where violence and chaos have taken root. We rebuke the spirit of lawlessness and rebellion in the name of Jesus and ask that You silence the wicked as Your Word declares: "Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none" (Psalm 10:15). Bring justice, peace, and restoration to this nation, Lord. Raise up godly leaders who will fear You and govern with wisdom and integrity. Let Your light pierce the darkness, and may the people of Haiti turn their hearts toward You, the only true source of hope.
For Nigeria, we pray for Your divine comfort to surround the brokenhearted. "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You heal the wounds of violence, terrorism, and division. Strengthen the persecuted Church, embolden believers to share the Gospel, and soften the hearts of those who oppose Your truth. May Nigeria become a beacon of Your love and grace in Africa.
Lord, we lift up Cuba, where so many are in desperate need. We declare that You will not forget the poor and the oppressed: "For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever" (Psalm 9:18). Provide for their physical needs, food, medicine, and shelter, and open doors for the Gospel to transform lives. Let Your provision overflow, and may the Cuban people experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways.
For Jamaica, we pray that You would be their strength and restorer in the midst of devastation. "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10). Heal the land, restore what has been lost, and draw the people into a deeper relationship with You. May Jamaica rise again, not by its own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit.
Our hearts ache for Ukraine, a nation ravaged by war. We declare Your promise over them: "He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and cuts the spear apart. He burns the chariots in the fire" (Psalm 46:9). Lord, bring an end to this conflict and restore what the locusts have eaten: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" (Joel 2:25). Be a refuge for the oppressed, a shelter for the displaced, and a healer for the wounded. Raise up leaders who will seek Your face and govern with righteousness. May the people of Ukraine find their hope in You alone.
In the midst of the Israel-Iran conflict, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as Your Word commands: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper" (Psalm 122:6). Soften the hearts of leaders on both sides, Lord. Let wisdom prevail over pride, and let Your will be done in this region. We ask for protection over Israel and for the Iranian people to come to know the truth of the Gospel. Break the chains of deception and oppression, and let Your light shine in the darkness.
For the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we cry out for Your mercy amid the Ebola outbreak. Touch the infected with Your healing power, Lord. "He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). Strengthen the hands of medical workers, provide resources, and stop the spread of this disease. May the people of the DRC turn to You as their healer and provider.
In Venezuela, we pray for those affected by earthquakes. Guide the search-and-rescue teams, Lord, and provide immediate shelter for the displaced. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). Comfort those who have lost loved ones and homes, and let Your peace reign in the midst of chaos. Raise up leaders who will seek Your face and lead with compassion and integrity.
Above all, Father, we pray for the salvation of souls across these nations. It is Your heart that none should perish: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Open the eyes of the lost, Lord. Let the Gospel go forth with power, and may multitudes come to the knowledge of the truth: "God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4). Break every chain of deception, idolatry, and false religion, and let the name of Jesus be exalted in every nation.
We also pray for godly leaders to rise up in these nations, men and women after Your own heart who will govern with justice, fear You, and care for the people. "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan" (Proverbs 29:2). Raise up leaders who will seek Your wisdom, walk in Your ways, and lead with humility and integrity.
Finally, Lord, we ask for boldness and endurance for Your persecuted Church worldwide. Strengthen believers who are facing trials, imprisonment, and even death for the sake of the Gospel. Remind them of Your promise: "I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, and may their testimony shine brightly in the darkness. Use their faithfulness to draw others to You.
We declare that Your kingdom will come and Your will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in every nation, and may the earth be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
