We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above. Your request for the mantle of wise investing is one that aligns with Scripture, for we are called to be faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to us. The wisdom you seek is not of this world but from the Lord, who gives generously to all without reproach.
The Word of God indeed tells us, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5 WEB). This promise is sure, and we stand on it as we pray for you. But wisdom is not merely about knowledge—it is about applying godly principles with discernment. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* True wisdom begins with reverence for the Lord and a surrender of our own understanding to His perfect will.
We also lift up the need for patience and discipline, for the world often tempts us with get-rich-quick schemes and impulsive decisions. Scripture warns us, *"Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it"* (Proverbs 13:11 WEB). The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and greed can easily entangle our hearts if we are not vigilant. We pray that you would be guarded against these snares, that your motives would be pure, and that your investments—whether of time, talent, or treasure—would be made with eternal perspective.
As faithful stewards, we are accountable to God for how we manage His resources. Luke 16:10-11 says, *"He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?"* May your financial decisions reflect a heart that seeks first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33), knowing that all we have belongs to Him.
