Prayer for the grieving families

In 48 hours we have lost 3 people who had a great influence on mos t of our lives. Ed Mcmahon, Farrah Fawcett and the legendary Michael Jackson. Their families need our prayers as well. Though MJ may have been the greatest influence on some, they all made an impact.

Lord, I lift up the families of these three wonderful children of Yours. Lord comfort them in their time of need and loss. Show them how to fully lean on You now. Lord we know that tomorrow is not promised to us. Teach us how to live to the fullest and not take for granted the precious lives that You have given us. Teach us how to make You first. Lord, I know these families are hurting and I ask that You step in and ease and carry the pain. I pray that each of Your children are in Heaven with You now. I thank You for the positive impact that they had on our lives. Somethings would not have taken place if You had not allowed them to cross our paths. Be with those families and even friends and fans that feel the pain as well. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, We don't understand these things and we are not meant too. We Simply have to Have Faith in Your Word, and Know You were Ready for them. They all are in A Better Place, with you. Father, I pray for all people in a state of grief...the families of these three celebrities, the hometown family whose son just died in Iraq, the family who said goodbye today to Grandpa who'd suffered with Alzheimer's for so long. So many people in this world are going through the earthly process of letting someone that they love go, and I pray for Your comfort and peace upon each of them. I pray that the souls of those who have died were given to You long ago, fully and completely, and that they now rest in the beauty of eternal grace with You. I pray their families have an understanding that this is just a temporary separation, and that the greater journey is yet to come. Send forth Your limitless mercy, peace and comfort to all those grieving around the world. In Jesus' name, amen.
