Father I am glad that you sent your Son Jesus to die for us sinners .Father I thank you that even though people commit crimes and believe no one sees them that you do .
Father i bring before you and ask that you take charge of the souls of the recently departed young women who died in a fire over the weekend Father the lives of these six women were snuffed out when the establishment where they worked was robbed and torched last Friday .Father I pray that you will forgive them of all their sins and take them home safely .
I bring before you the perpetrators who has committed such a horrible crime .You know who they are .I pray that if guilt does not over come them and the news of the horror they created does not stir their conscience that you draw them out and shine the light on them for the law to see .Father do not let the enemy continue to shield them and give them false security .Father if their families or so called friends are shielding or harbouring them let the words of the scripture find the way into their guilty hearts .
I pray for their parents of the victims ,siblings ,children ,their former employer who was also injured in the robbery and all friends that they may be comforted .Knowing that you are not far away .Lord may this be a wake up call to all those of us who remain that now is the accepted time to come to know you .That we should remember the creator in our youth .That you made us and not we our selves .
Lord we have strayed from your word and we and all your children will pay and are presently paying the price . We have become educated fools and some of us hold the notion that your church and You god has obsolete .Father forgive us all .Father help all of us to become our brothers keeper .Cover us all with your word and let us not throw our hands up in the air saying that these are the last days and do nothing about anything
I pray fore all parents that they be honest and truthful in their actions and know that their children are always watching and will mimic them .May they be truthful and recognise that when they cannot manage their children and seek the help that is available instead of playing the blaming game .That they will stop blaming slavery ,poverty ,the teacher the church the politician and take a look at heir own contribution . By leaning on your word Father and seeking counsel here on earth that they will save their children and other people from much heartache .They will be conscience of right and wrong and seek to do right always .
Merciful Father I pray that all those who cry out for justice to prevail and hanging to be resumed that they take a step back and think .Think that we as individuals must play our part also . We must lead our children ,grans ,family members and those in our care in the way of truth .That truth is you Lord and we can seek it through your Son Jesus .
Father I bring our leaders before you that they will be better stewards .That they will be better examples for those whom they were given authority over .I pray that our political leaders and representatives will do what is right for our country and its people and not what will ensure that they regain their seats at the end of a political term .
Father at the end of the day all of us as stewards will have to give account for our stewardship here on earth .Father help us that we may not be found wanting on that day .Lord I pray that we that follow your word will be able to lead the way that those on the outside can see yYou shining in our works and come to follow you .This i ask in Jesus precious name Amen .
