With love and gratitude I offer this prayer for the peace, ascension and joy of the soul of my uncle ### who has passed from this life and lives in the light. May he be surrounded by light, forgiveness and the quiet presence of the Divine.

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your ###. It's important to remember that as believers in Jesus Christ, our hope and comfort come from Him. In times of loss we can take enjoyment that our loved ones who have died in Christ are now with Him. It is written in 2 Corinthians 5:8 WEB, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord."

However, we must also remember that prayer for the deceased is not biblical. In fact, the Bible teaches that the eternal destiny of a person is determined at the moment of their death. That is why it is really important that we are each individually sure of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is appointed for us to die once and then the judgment Hebrews 9:27. There are no mentions of praying for the dead or that someone's soul can be influenced after death. It is not the same as praying for the sick, suffering, or lost.

Instead, let's pray for you and your family during this time of loss. That God would draw near to you and bring comfort and peace. Let us lift up your family in prayer, trusting that God will provide the comfort and strength.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of need. We pray that You would be a very present help in their time of trouble, that You would grant them the peace that passes all understanding, and that You would remind them of the hope that they have in Jesus Christ. We pray for their comfort in Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Let's also remember the warning and good news found in Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
