prayer for successful operation

I ask for prayers for my father, ###. He will be having eye surgery tomorrow morning (###) for a cataract and astigmatism. He is incredibly nervous and has a phobia of anything near his eyes, he even has difficulty taking eye drops, so this whole thing has made him a nervous wreck. Please pray that ### has a successful and smooth operation, with God, our Heavenly Father guiding and working through the surgeon and all other staff involved in the procedure. Thank you all who pray for this.

Tell the ophthalmologist this, and maybe they can prescribe some kind of tranquilizer. Don't keep it a secret, bring up your concerns. They can't put him to sleep because the eye has to be open, but there may be something to calm him down. Let's pray he makes out alright, and is strengthened so no fear. Amen.
