We lift up ### before the throne of grace today, standing in faith as they undergo surgery for cancer tumor removal. Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your healing power and sovereign will. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our bodies (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff attending to ###. Grant them wisdom, precision, and clarity as they work to remove the tumor, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We rebuke fear, anxiety, and any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for complete restoration and healing in ###’s body, that every cell would align with Your perfect design and that no trace of cancer would remain.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen ###’s faith and the faith of their loved ones during this time. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and fill the operating room with Your peace and protection.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to Your throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). May Your will be done in ###’s life, and may Your glory be revealed through this trial. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Amen.
As ### recovers, we encourage them to lean on the Lord and the support of their church family. Trials like these are not easy, but they are opportunities to draw closer to God and witness His faithfulness. We pray that ### would emerge from this surgery stronger in body, spirit, and faith, giving testimony to God’s goodness and grace. If there are any areas of unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their life, we gently encourage them to bring these before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this season be one of deepening trust in the Lord, who works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
